I just got my selective service form from the govt. asking me to choose which branch of the armed services I'd like to join if the draft is reinstated.
Navy or Air-force?

I don't think I'll forsake my US citizenry just yet.

Here in Finland
Ewww... Stupid countries, demanding my loyalties...
In Australia they won't let you join... Because they do not want people with ties to other nations fighting in our army. In Australia, you're here for us, or not at all.Is it true that as an American citizen, I am not allowed to join the military of another country?
I was reading up on the Mossad the other day, and briefly thought about it (I probably wouldn't); but then someone told me American citizens must revoke their citizenship in order to serve in the military of a foreign nation.
:\
I dislike this government encroaching on that freedom... that should be a recommendation, not a demand. At least allow me to join the military of allied nations.

Hehehe, You're on an Island, where there is only one city, which fills nearly the entire east to west, southern side... If a war comes across that bridge... Sure there's the buffer where you guys have some wilderness to fight in, but it's not going to be much of a fight, maybe 2 days.High five comrade.
In a month I shall be conscripted to serve my term in the Singapore Armed Forces. Since I am perfectly fit young man, I'll probably not get away from this.
However, the prospect of firing that new SAR-21 assault rifle, commanding the ass kicking German made Leopard main battle tank and throwing frags really fill me with a hot-blooded sense of excitement.
Maybe I'll make commando officer, or die in an MG accident, but I know its going to be a ride.

Here's a secret: People have thought the same in real life.I always took you as a female ob. Feel kinda stupid now...
I'd burn the form and send back the ashes.
