I challenge that notion. I had a hippo for a roommate for 3 years and every day that beast became more and more unlikable. Always crapping wherever it happened to be standing and eating my lettuce. Not to mention that I had to forgo furniture after a month of living with it because I couldn't afford to replace what he broke. Of course it couldn't pay for new furniture because it didn't have a freakin' job. No one hires hippos and for good reason.

I am neither an economic anarchist (which are often referred to as capitalists as well) nor a socialist, so I suppose I am a capitalist. Which does not say anything about my opinion concerning the question if Scylla dislikes hippos (I never said this condition to be sufficient, nor necessary, for my statement of being a capitalist to be true).

You made a conditional statement, which is the same thing. A second condition is necessarily and always met is a first is also met. If how you go about that is true, then about 100% of all programs would be malfunctioning. I see what you're saying, like you made two completely unrelated statements that just happen to be together. But the fact that you have a well-structured if statement and a comma followed by then (which denotes similarities between the condition and the outcome, ie. they are both met or not met) proves otherwise. It would only be logically conclusive that there is, based on your previous statement, a positive correlation between scyllas disliking of hippoes and your preferred economic theory.

However, you said you are a capitalist anyway, so I guess there would truly be no way of knowing for sure.
