I'm just curious....
One of my favorite tv shows got canceled and I'm trying to gather some signatures in order to send them a message that we care.
People can't believe that I watched that show and I was wondering if something similar happens with other INT's.
It appears to me that when INT's are not immersed into complex lines of thinking they could be involved with some rather silly activities.

You are right, your motivations really don't matter that much as it's an online forum where we will never really know anyway. But I think most intp's will take most things seriously no matter how trivial and look into the concepts behind it. Personally I've no idea what this but anything presumably trivial would have worked fine as a premise for what you were asking about. I would go on but my phone keeps fucking up intermittently :/

Bad Grandpa is intentionally obnoxious.... Honey Boo Boo appears to be naturally obnoxious.... Both are shows are stupid if you really think about, yet we like to watch. Forget about Honey Boo Boo, I could have use the Kardashians as an example, but that would be too low even for my standards. I'm just intrigued by the silly trivial things INT's get involved.

Yeah, I can't handle even watching the Kardashians in the news. So many more worthwhile people who deserve attention, yet they are the ones thriving off the desperate curiosity of others....

I get into quirky goofy stuff but not really celebrities. I did watch The Apprentice for a few years, as well as Hells Kitchen, though.

Watching television used to be (very recently, maybe still is, but doubt it cuz viewer #s r dropping) the #2 activity muricans spend most time doing, #1 was their job. I sumtymes wonder, is the trash tv really having a negative effect on the viewers (making them behave similarly or validate idiocy), or is it providing a mental background that's really easy for the viewer to supersede in terms of being better than, and thus giving self esteem to the population, which is quite important to keep a population content. And making dumb-reality-tv-esque behavior more obvious and repugnant to the viewers when encountering such behavior in reyul life.

Both are at play, which one is more prevalent?

I'd liken this and other similar shows, that encourage negative behaviors, to attractions at a circus. The use of manipulation and deception in other to profit at the detriment of those in the show wouldn't be surprising.

I don't think anyone in that family could jump over the bar even if it were buried under your basement.
