Running through possible scenarios.

I tend to run through several just thinking about what happens if someone says/does this to me. How will I react. I start acting them out sometimes. Do any of you act out scenarios?

"Now... What would I do if an armed lunatic walked into the room right now...?" is a question I ponder about way too often.

yes i run through scenarios in my head.

for me its often my mind going through expected scenarios before i think they will happen, so i can be better prepared for them.

most of the time they don't happen "sigh....i had such a good comeback for that one"

Oi. That happens actually quite often.
Sometimes, I also picture conversations along with scenarios too.
I am enjoy verbal "sparring", as some call it.
Conversations, as I like to imagine it, is akin to dealing out cards.

Does anybody here feel a slight tinge of pleasure when you deal out a witty line/ pun?

And the comeback thing, oh boy...

I thought to myself if I said this to the class.
And if the class reacts this way I will say this outloud.

The class didn't react the way I expected.
I yelled my thing outloud, and nothing happened...So embarrassing
