Just too sickly sweet. Every time I think it's doing it in order to emphasise the next section's reversal of polarity, it gets even cuter! Fuck me right?
2/10
I was actually a little aroused before I saw that... Now I'm not.
I think I might have just lost my sexuality forever.
It was a spectacle, though.
Uhggg from the very beggining, when i heard those treblish guitars with that typical medieval beat, god kill me now, can't see the sun again, pushed to the realm of inquisition, i mean, if they had recorded the song in a popy way i would probably like it since it sounds like another band i like that play punk rock. 5/10 for being all i don't want to be associated with
btw, could you could attempt a brief typing of the singer by looking at the song lyrics? they are quite interesting. I smell ENFP.
Water of chaos
Have invaded all space
The flood on earth again
I have to find the whales
That once did guides us
To dry lands of life
I won't despair
I'll break this dark all around
Under the heavy sea
I'll search the flight of whales
Beneath the seas I searched
And had a different view
Of us on earth
The sinking ship of men
But it's beyond the stars
I found the place
Where they were
And they finally came to light
Over the winds
They dwell in light
Like the arrow in the sky
I found myself on higher grounds
From up here
For I see them in flight
Now I can see the whales
Looming out of the dark
Like arrows in the sky
I can't believe my eyes
But it's true
Huge tunnel ends in light
Like banks of clouds they gather
See massive shape of flesh
Swimming giants in the clear
The mightiest comes to me
I'm on the wing, wide open
They teach me how to fly
Slowly moving in the air
So much told with no words at all
Powerful presence for only speech
Breath
godamn you intps surely have your feelings down there, i mean, that's a tricky one to enjoy :l
i'll give it 4/10 because, well it had a darky lazy interesting feeling.
wow, really shitty melody (green day's misery alike + tetris) + russia images :S
my mind is disturbed
my stomach is weak
but my spirit will rise again - 2.5/10
hey i had forgotten about this band, a japanese sounding american band, really tasty!
6/10
Me no hablo espanol, regardless the vocals fit in nicely with the instrumental sound things(Speaking as an ignoramus as to technicalities of musicality.)
lol reminded me of a part of one of my songs, pretty cool, too quiet for me maybe, still 7/10 until that weird guitar part with the guy singing. :S Then the trumpets and those growls ruined it all lol from 7 to like 2/10.
it gets that real shitty (in a good way) thrash vibe going... it's like slippery litter, time freezed. but the song is somewhat mediocre and lacking in "whoah" moments, and although this business-like approach may be appreciated in a way and does not exude fakeness, it doesn't invite me to further listening. there are bands who do the same thing but with addition of hooks, more attitude etc. 6/10
Wow. Some people just try so hard at trying to be alpha male monkeys. I can't really resonate with what he's saying because I never went that far, but I get it. As for the music, is that really music? I dunno. The lyrics were intriguing though. 6.5/10
I was gonna post something else, but I feel like I need to notch it down after listening to that metal xD
While instrumental music isn't my thing, I did think the melody was quite cool, thought it was good music to zone out to. I would have given it 6/10 but it picked up a bit at the end which I really liked so I'll give it 7/10.
Here's a Biffy Clyro b-side I've been obsessed with lately (Don't quote me on this but biffy's early stuff had mogwai influence, I think): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LzZVOaPh278
That reminds me of that one German general in the mini-series "The Band of Brothers" (youtube.com/watch?v=VcMk85ZsBh0) I think to a German at the time it meant unity and prosperity, a sense of community and purpose. A glorious, ethnocentric, nationalistic, anthem.
I'm not going to rate it though. I don't think the anthem is really meant for anyone living today.
As far as guitar pieces go, it's pretty nice, but it failed for me to show that sort of melody or story that draws me into a piece of music and makes me get lost inside it... 7.5/10
The only dubstep piece I've ever liked or properly listened to:
Not bad, although I don't know dubstep well. If anything the drum sounded a bit flat - unimpressive, should give more power. The composition felt slightly negatively directionless.
6/10
I liked the part with the descending chords, but the entire thing reminds me of the music that would play during a montage on a melodrama where the characters are reflecting on some minor conflict that will resolve itself minutes later. 3/10.
7/10. That was in Spanish, right? I'm from Argentina, so I could understand the parts that weren't really fast.
Do you up like Huey Lewis and the News? Their early work was a little too new wave for my tastes, but when Sports came out in '83, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Huey has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor.
Not a fan of that epic everything's amazing lets get fucked up party vibe. It's like being told to have a good time instead of just having a good time. 3/10
7/10. Once I stopped watching the video and closed my eyes I enjoyed the song a lot more. Didn't enjoy the last quarter as much as the rest though; the guitar started to annoy me a bit.
7/10 atm 8/10 if in a 'mood'
As the title said, it was like the voices were drifting in the music itself.
I enjoyed the effect. Just not a rhythm that hooks me in that well. It's a cool experience, though. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7_rqu8Bx-sA
