4/10. I listened to it almost to the end, but my critical factor won't allow most of it into my subconscious. My feelings don't resonate too much with the song.

Hawkeye's post had me getting into Jon Gomm's music. The complex and technical way of playing the guitar has me inspired. I can really get into this song.

8/10 I enjoyed the music and I find it easier to appreciate while watching it performed.

Here is a young artist who died from melanoma at the age of 33 in 1996. She died in obscurity in the US, but became popular in the UK 4 years later and even had several of her recordings reach #1 on UK record charts. Eva Cassidy.

seeing the lyric(s?) apparently aided appreciation so this attempt with death grips was more successful than previous ones where he's just been yelling. still the style is kind of needlessly abrasive and repetitive to me. much of the beat seems like fluff and filler.

5/10 for the song, 8/10 for that it fits you. not that you're a 5/10 kinda person but i think you see where i'm going...

pretty good, sometimes rather awkward. strong message which may be unnecessary but is occasionally highlighted by dramatic performances and vocal melodies which adds a lot of something... i get some kind of feel for where these people are coming from and what they're going for, which is not essential to me but still possible to appreciate when done this well. 6 or 7.

I love Phillip Glass, so I'm biased, but this is definitely an interesting song choice. There are points that make me feel even ambitious and nearly exhilarated. 8/10 as I don't like the ending. It feels a little forced.

-30 seconds wasted on a boring pointless intro. Intro's should either be elaborate or not included.
-Dry sound
-boring stereotypical singer
-crap lyrics
-some interesting rhytmics from the band at times
-boring atmospheric bridge were nothing happens which is broken of by guitars
-quickly thereafter song climaxes but it doesn't feel like much of a climax, it sounds like the rest of song
-it goes on too long after this repeating the same thing over and over with little variation

Verdict: 2/10, utter shit but I guess at least they are trying. Admittedly I can't connect to the music whatsoever though. But I stand by the fact that the intro is a waste of time, that the bridge is lame and the climax fails to soar regardless.
