So for such a feely thread I feel weird not having already posted, but, like MissQ, I just really appreciate all of you, for being people to talk to. Especially for being people who have had/are having the same issues I have had/am having. Also, I often want to solidify my thinking, and it turns me into a very frustrated person. So coming on here really helps remind me that sometimes it's ok not to have any clue as to what you want or where you're going or how to deal with people. Which are all questions that like to surface a lot. You guys (and gals) really help me be comfortable with who I am.

Ah an opportunity for Si. I am NOT alright. Friday I had a fever of 101.7 and went to the doctor ... later as high as 102.9. I have a tick born disease. Physically I have felt terrible but it goes on and off 1st from the attack on internal organs and now that I'm on doxycycline to hopefully kill the evil bacteria, only weakness remains. We had no therometers here so went out and bought two. I like to watch numbers. Felt a little hungry so ate a little with the result it stressed my body. Temp on getting into bed was absolutely normal and an hour later is 99.6. Bed rest causes fever? No. It's the stress on eating on weak organs IMO. So I got the chance to express Si which is not the primary target of this thread. If I talk too much on this subject, I apologize to you and that is Fe.

At the moment I'm at a loss on what to say about your being a girl as opposed to the other choice.

Gender things do create a lot of problems worldwide.

I think I miscommunicated about your being a girl. It wasn't that I thought you write like a girl (I wouldn't know what that was). Instead I believe either you SAID you were a girl or I got it from an avatar or from the "Miss" part of your handle.

Your issue of being male has me asking would or could I accept being female? My off the cuff answer is I could imagine it but would have social difficulties ... and I don't need more. My wife is not gay so that would cause problems and I don't like ladies sowing circles ... perhaps the latter the same thing you face <--? We need to find some female role models near your temperament for you ???

Later: When I was dating and was woefully inadequate in just about everything, I kept quiet but seemed to seek out intelligent active women. I learned a lot from them and use that information today.

It has always seemed to me that males have more freedom to be themselves than females, but maybe that is just because some of my personality traits are not very typically female and so there for they come off as weird and people want me to suppress them or act differently. But I guess males could easily have the same issues, if their personality was not typical to the male standard, they could end up feeling like women have more freedom.

An INTP advisor could only add to what you already like anyway. It's the other temperaments which could add to your experiences what you could not otherwise get. That's why we have other temperaments.
