Those who remember the past may recall that on vBulletin users could set their own preference for the number of posts per thread --- I go up to 200 the max since big pages are fine. Not everyone feels like that, which is why Options are the best.

XenForo developers decided not to have such choice, you may see why I said earlier they are rather morose:

It says there there was an add-on, but that was for XF ver 1, maybe something for ver 2 will come but in the mean time perhaps posts here could just say what they like, 20, 40, 60 whatever, and a consensus will emerge for it to be changed for everybody in the admin control box.








Note: under Privacy in your profile, there is a 'Show your online status' switch, so I don't know why it hasn't been visible. The Settings in your Profile are meagre > WordPress's cursed Mantra, which is pure original fascism, 'Decisions, Not Options' infected half the Devs on the internet.

It means: they make the decisions for all the users in the world and if possible, Googlelike, then take away what they gave earlier.

Old INTPf had 50 ppp. I don't mind that amount as long as I have a way to "view first unread post."

50 sounds good to me too, although i've never been very picky about this.. so any way is fine.

video threads start to be troublesome past 50 posts, i think.

I think 50 is plenty, I never liked to get lost in endless scrolling...

Set it to 50 for now, although that may change if sufficient others speak here.


Also increased a lot of limits for various things, from images per post, poll choice numbers, search results etc..

Yeah, thanks Google -- forcing me to choose their hamstrung approach or fleeing with chagrin into the wart-infested trembly arms of Bing.
