Chimera
To inanity and beyond
I bet many of you wish you were 14 again, hmm?
But then again, maybe not. To an INTP, the teen years are some of the hardest. Constantly facing the stupidity of your own age group, being viewed as some "smart-ass kid" whenever you open your mouth to make a gentle correction to someone older than you are...it's tough.
I'm in 8th grade. I just had my 14th birthday on the 5th of March. In "real life" my name is Rachel, but I strongly, strongly suggest that you call me Chime or Chimera on this site. I'm uncomfortable with people using my real name online. It feels like they're trying to breach my privacy (which makes no sense if I've already publicly posted my name like I just did, but I digress..)
I found out about being INTP about a year ago, when I first took the mypersonality.com test. I was more defined as an INTP then, but now I'm only about 65% T. I N and P are all above 90%. However, I only started looking into INTP forums and communities yesterday.
Even as an INTP, I still have some quirks.
- I am quite manipulative, though it is not an obvious trait, and it is something I'm working on using less.
- When my affectionate side is triggered, I'm quite naive...but there are only 2 people who can bring out that side of me.
I'm possibly the strangest 14-year-old most people will ever meet.
Hello, everyone.
