Defining perceivers and judgers in my own words.

INTP/ISFJ—Defense/Offense
INTJ/ISFP—Offense/Defense

A judger can be seen as an 'attacker' and comes to the defense of the perceiver.

An INTP has an internal system of morals held by the ISFJ.

Perceivers are the diffusers. They are deflective during arguments and tend to jump from topic to topic during conversations. They are uncertain and indecisive about almost any choice they have to make and are open to new ideas.

Judgers are the compressors. They are incisive during arguments and usually have very specific points to make. They are systemic in the choices they make and generally skeptical of new ideas.

Everyone has their own perception and judgements.
Feel free to agree or disagree.

I am unclear on what you mean by this.

Will you clarify?

Um.. well, the shadow (ISFJ) defends the INTPs world views. Generally, INTPs are very uncertain of their feelings/morals until they are being attacked.

I am confused with the word shadow, as it sometimes refers to the shadow (ESFJ) and sometimes to shadow functions (Te, Ni, Se, Fi). What makes you say ISFJ?

I dunno. It doesn't really make sense to me that the shadow of an INTP would be extroverted.

In what sense do you regard it as a shadow, as an opposite or as something that follows you around, subconsciously?

The J/P descriptions however may very well be a valid perspective. I'm just not sure whether it is any particular type or shadow.

Your shadow follows you like Edward Cullen.

I just think ISFJ is the shadow for INTPs.

In general, judgement functions are supposed to be incisive and filter through the possibilities presented by perception functions. It makes sense that an extraverted judgment function would act like "offense" in conversation

I think ESFJ is the INTP shadow.
