I find that the attitude here is much better than at other forums, where this is frowned upon.
Here, when people necro threads, discussion just continues as normal, as if it had never stopped. I like that.
YEAH! I can't believe it.
It seemed like I was the only guy pointing it out. But I have grown to accept it. It's very reasonable.
Imagine the average Joe's forum:
New Thread:
"Hey, this topic has been covered extensively and many times before look around!"
Old Thread:
"Why did you bring this thread up again? Let it die."
But over here it feels like going through the dark history of INTPf. Users who have been banned forever and the lengthy thread battles of sarcasm and insults.
Also many notable posters who have incredible post counts just disappear. They never post again.
You should also check out how many people have signed on to this forum and didn't even make a single post. All their names look legitimate. Makes me wonder if we have stalkers.
Oh yeah, and those 1 post guys who just post on your thread and disappear. They often say something insightful.
