Interesting, I don't really know enough about it to talk about the specific theory, but it's an interesting thing to think about.
Not talking about Modal reality specifically, it would seem strange to me if our specific universe was the only universe, so I can accept that there may be parallel and alternate universes, in the former physics is the same but events transpire differently, in the latter physics is different.
I doubt there's any interaction between alternate universes, or if there is our universe must be somewhat isolated from it, otherwise reality would be an irreducible mess, and if parallel universes are interacting, well considering the smallest amount of measurable time and the number of subatomic interactions per that period of time, the likelihood of interactions between parallel universes being of any real significance seems remote, I mean even if we could influence a parallel universe, how would we know we did anything?
This could all be used to justify the seemingly impossible, but any such justification for god is equal justification for cthulhu.
