I took 1g of Modalert
dissolved it n water and separated using sedimentation
only 0.5 g was left
0.5 gm of pure modafinil

I like experiments but...wasn't the weight of the active substance in the pill printed somewhere on the package? If absent, I woudn't buy drug like that...

Ok but you didn’t need to go through this to decide you’d trial taking 200mg.
(Isn’t that the dose most people take anyway?)
It still doesn’t make any sense. This seems like some pointless thing someone who just had 1000mg of Modafinil might do

the pill tasted different then the modafinil i took before so thought it might be a bad batch

Sugar could have broken down in the water. There is definitely components of the pill that are soluble in water.
