He raps about how bad his life is/used to be in an annoying way. His rap voice is like a rusty nail on my ears. And, he always ends up yelling in mostly all of his songs; I just don't think he's as good as everyone makes him out to be. He raps about things that most everyone goes through, and people talk about him like he's the best rapper since Tupac. Plus, I just don't like him; idk why but he just grinds my gears.

Everybody likes to point out the fact that he attempted suicide and lived, which (to me) indicates lack of determination. I know it sounds harsh, but if I were going to kill myself (and I have been there), I would do it in such a way that I would actually die. In my eyes, people who attempt suicide and fail (excluding times when someone unexpectedly saves them) are just crying out for attention, and their energy would be better directed towards actually talking to people, not making a big scene about it. This is just one of those areas where I'm extremely (for lack of the correct phrase) set in my ways.

@higs I don't like his S-ish ideas, and I don't like him being hypocritical about some of his ideas (drug abuse, suicide; if you're in control of your life (hence happy, otherwise you can't be in control), why do you need to do drugs?). That's for starters. I also remember reading something about his personal life (not a random fan post), so I dislike him as a person for more reasons than only those.

He's at his best when the subject matter isn't really important IMO (eg Stay Wide Awake); he isn't particularly perceptive... (see Renegade: "Oh, you offer criticism of my music and persona? But... but... you maybe used drugs in college! Take that!")
