*throws back a whiskey and climbs up onto the table to address the assembled rabble*

This is going to be oozing with sentimentality. You've been warned.

To my Brothers in Arms:

Loveofreason: You're equal parts mysterious and treacherous. You've dusted me off so many times and shoved me back into the fray. You are the Gaia of INTPf. So, will you water my garden while I'm out?

Adaire: You are strong and intelligent. More importantly you're unapologetic about it. I hope to meet you in real life someday.

Minuend: I love how aggressive and playful you are. You are a stormy breeze that ruffles my hair. You make me giddy.

Fukyo: What is that whirring sound I keep hearing? Oh, lol, it's Fukyo's eyes rolling around in her head. You're such a bitch but I think it keeps everybody on an even keel. You've proven to me that being a bitch isn't such a bad thing. :D

AlisaD: I want my knife back.

As for the rest of you:

Ermine: You are the epitome of a healthy female INTP. You struggle with emotion and warmth but you are understanding and intellectual. I miss your input around here but you've inspired me to leave myself. It's time I went and enjoyed more of my life. Thank you.

Cheese: I wish I could wrap my arms around you, hold you close, and show you what emotional/mental/psychological love is so you'd stop whining so much.

AI: Despite being an alcoholic with the self esteem of a guppy you are the smartest person in this place in my estimation. You have brilliant ideas. It's a pathetic world that marginalizes somebody like you. I hope you kick it's ass soon.

Auburn: Have you fully transformed into your shadow self yet? I await your return as a bloody evil monster the exact opposite of your currently gentle self. Actually, you've done your damnedest to look into your own murky psychology and I really respect you for that.

Anthile: I want to say something to you but the words just aren't coming. All I can bring to the forefront is calm silence. I will miss your calm silence.

We should consider a Goodbye subsection for this forum. It's becoming a common topic. Anyway, I'm tired. You've all taught me something at some point even if it was to shut off my emotions and realize that there really are cold horrible people out there. I never really quite believed it before. I'm going to go live a little more and spend a little more time with the people I love. I'll probably come back eventually but I knew I wouldn't leave for more than a day unless I said a complete goodbye.

*climbs down from the table and marches out the door into the street*

I've never interacted much with you, probably due to the fact I largely stopped posting in the Arena around the time of your arrival, but I liked your contributions (you were one of those bright young things and you fit in here extraordinarily) and your personality.

Good luck. :^^:

What is this 'love'?

Also, have fun and all that. I really admire your strength and 'ahfuckit' attitude, so I doubt you'll need luck, but take some anyway.

I wonder if you'll come back to check the responses. That's cheating, you know. Except you might never know that if you don't come back and check mine, in which case you'll have already cheated. You're in a bind here. I'm trying right this minute to send out Danger! Danger! mindrays to you. I hope you appreciate it, bitch.

Water, pluck, weed, compost, mulch. I'll even rake the gravel and stalk the deer :D

*silent respect for making a commitment to life, and love*

*grabs a disappearing tentacle on it's way out the door and wraps it round an original copy of Gerrard's Herbal... sombrely pats goodbye*

Don't trip on the pavement dear, I hear it's hard.

Warm fuzzies. :) The fact that you're still posting is one of few reasons why I still linger here. It's been great getting to know you through your posts. Thanks for reminding me to actually leave this time. There have been some good times, and I have grown a lot as a result, but I've learned what I needed to learn, and it's starting to get redundant. I think I have alternate forms of contacting the forum members I'd want to contact anyway...

Anyway, adieu for good this time.

Wait, so... you're leaving as well?

Though you bring up good points. Why am I even here? On this forum? I just don't understand. But then, what else am I to do with my time? And then I know I should look the other way from another forum and never go back there.

I will now be stuck in a self-conflict regarding this issue for about a week (during which time I will forget I wrote this post and likely not post much, if at all) and ponder the questions I just asked, most likely decide I have no reason to stay and then leave, and then be back in about two days.

What is it about you leaving that makes me feel as though there isn't much actually going on in this forum? I only stay on two or three forums and have limited interest in typology anyway.

I will comment on this in approximately two days, when I have returned to a normal mental state. :slashnew:

I'm sure you'll figure out something to do. When I stopped posting so much, there was actually a myriad of things to do. I got to concentrate more on art and piano, master calculus, crochet a scarf for my roommate's birthday, watch documentaries, socialize more, study, play guitar, sleep, write. There are all sorts of things available.

In response to your third paragraph, I think it's because there really isn't that much going on, and you agree. There's stuff going on, but I've read similar posts on similar topics from a couple years ago, if not more recently. Hardly anything unique or striking. At least to me.

I blame it on muscle memory. I can type in the url incredibly fast and with little thought.

Oh, I left for good months ago. If you see posts by me, it's mere echos.

And I think I'm offended that they didn't even say goodbye to me.

After all I've done for them the ungrateful ............. ;)

Perhaps this can be the official forum disbanded thread. Unless others are staying....

Ah well, I didn't like you guys anyway (actually yes I did, very much) and all things good and bad must come to an end I suppose. I'm happy for you Cava and Ermine for recognizing the time is right for you. I wish I could.

I am back to a decently normal mental state. Paragraph 3 is false. The rest are true.

If I do not leave permanently by summer, then I will after summer, when I go to college. If I do, then I will probably come back during summer, and then permanently leave.

I have no idea what I will do at college. I like to say that I will go and learn everything I want to and can, even apart from my classes, but some days, I just feel like I don't to ever learn anything. Like it will somehow be easier that way. There is far too much time in a lifetime, I think, and the sad part is that it is all filler.

I can't agree that subjectivity makes life meaningful. Sorry, Ermine. Though I do not doubt that it certainly makes it more interesting and personal.

URL? I just access this website from the firefox pull down bar. It is dangerous. If I ever leave I will probably erase my history. I hate typing in URL's.

I know I give off the impression of doing nothing right now. That probably will not change when I leave for college. But, whether that is actually true or not... certainly sometimes, I'm sure. Then again, I don't think I could ever consider the mundanes 'something.'
