How many of you are left handed? Would it be an INTP thing?

I eat and write with my left, but I throw a baseball and shoot a basketball with my right. I always kick a ball with my right foot.

Left handed. Used to play baseball with either hand but as I grew up I tended way more towards playing lefty. I also play basketball right handed.

Also, I don't think it's an INTP thing because I know lefties who aren't INTPs and I'm fairly sure I made a thread like this before that had a significant number of righties.

I use the mouse on the left hand 'cause when I started using the computer we had a table for left-handed (the mouse stand was on the left). But that's the only thing I use the left hand for, I can't write with it.

If you want what I am writing to be almost completely illegible then, yes, I am left-handed.

I'm left-handed but the only things that I can't do with both hands is write and throw. I actually do a lot of things better with my right than my left and some things feel more natural that way as well.

I throw a football better with my right hand, can write left handed, kick a football with either foot. Able to bowl either handed as well.

My sister is the same, and she is nowhere near an INTP.

Righty. I do brush my teeth with my left hand though. And my hair. And I doubt it is an INTP thing.

I am left handed but I was forced to write with my right hand at a early age. Now I am right hand dominate. However I still shoot a basketball left handed.

Usually people that try both hands when starting things they aren't accustomed to learn how to use both, but have a preference for one over the other. If you tried writing with both hands and learned on both, but focused on one, you're going to be ambidextrous, even though you'll be better with one over the other.

Same goes for sports and anything else. Some old boxers taught themselves to be ambidextrous so that they could change stances in order to surprise their opponents; but they almost always performed one stance better. I bet ambidexterity would be a blessing in martial arts.

Yup it is. It's quite hard to dodge if you can't predict where your opponent would hit you big time.

I'm a southpaw. I do everything with my left hand. It's almost like my right hand might as well not even exist. I don't think it's exclusive to INTP's though. Mostly luck of the draw.

I'm right handed. My left handed writing has become pretty decent over the course of many dull chemistry classes.

I am right handed.

I taught myself to be fairly ambidextrous when I was in my early teens, just by forcing myself to do everything with my left hand whenever possible. I quit doing it at some point and I'm not very great with my left hand anymore, I think I could get better again if I started again though.

I really don't see how or why there would be any correlation between left-handedness and INTP personalty. That just seems like another silly stretch to make the personality type seem that much more unique and odd.

depends what I do. I often use the left on the computer mouse. On the car wheel it's either the left or both. Writing I can use both, but prefer right. I'm pretty sure that's mostly muscle and mental memory.

Using a hammer is interesting with the left. You hold the nail with the right. Don't do that often. But a bit of fun. Indicates I am right handed, although do fairly well. It's not clear if it's more challenging due to lack of practice or mental deficiency. I'd say right handed, as of now. Keep the possibility open that this will change.

I'm ambidextrous:phear:

Same here. Realized it at about thirteen though, five years ago or so, although i wouldn't say it was a learned behaviour as much as it was building upon what was already naturally there. People often tend to get confused when first getting to know me because i constantly change hands in a task (except when writing, although i do this too just not as often).

Edit: I usually write with my right for convenience.

Ambidextrous. Favor my left when writing and eating also. Everything else (that I can think of) I favor right. But I can switch easily (except for guitar. That's right only).

Left handed. I throw with my right hand, however. Most things aside from eating and writing are with my right hand.

Agreed.

Can't stop laughing at the whole "Socionics also have something to do with how your look"

All those "INTPs generally have poor control of their lower jaw"
"INTPs go back to their original position(In a chair, or whatever)"
