hoorrrraaay!

Yes!

It's that special time again.

The drinkers have been holding off for some time now, saving it all for one glorious moment.
The non-drinkers have...erm, been being slandered and largely ignored..

Every shop you go into is filled with a grand collection of ridiculous looking upside-down pot o' gold hats, clover confetti, 'novelty' sized pints, and those *shudder* leprechaun suits, completely with scraggly ginger beard and locks!

*sighs happily*

Okay, so asides from the parade (which I might be too lazy to attend this year), the public Holiday,*beams*, and all those adorable people dressed like idiots, it's just another day, hm?

Well shaddup.

This is the only I give special importance to, not counting birthdays, which are simply depressing!

So you will damn well sit down and enjoy it, and briefly think of me while chuckling to yourself (please wear clothes, green if possible).

The alternative is that I think of you, which has the effect of voodoo in these parts..

Anyway..

If I hadn't made this topic no-one else would have, and I'll be...erm...busy tomorrow, so I can't post it then!

Have a good one parasites of the MBTI!

Also, could we please-please-please-please get a clover smiley?

GM's St. patty,s day blessing:

May your teeth turn green from drinking dyed beer and in the next few days as the green pigment in the dye fades may your teeth turn a particulary yuckey shade of yellow.

Have a happy St. Patty's day. Don't puke on yourself.

:D "It's A Great Day for the Irish", by Roger Edens,

"Oh, I woke me up this morning and I heard a joyful song
From the throats of happy Irishmen, a hundred thousand strong
Sure it was the Hibernian Brigade
Lining up for to start the big parade
So I fetched me Sunday bonnet and the flag I love so well
And I bought meself a shamrock just to wear in me lapel
Don't you know that today's March seventeen? I
t's the day for the wearing of the green...........

It's a great day for the Irish, it's a great day for fair
The side-walks of New York are thick with Blarney
For shure you'd think New York was Old Killarney
Begosh and begorragh, every Irish son and daughter
Every good old Irish name and their relation
They come from Tipperary, Donegal and County Kerry,
They are all here to join the celebration..........

There's Connolly and Donnelly, Ryan, O'Brien, McLoughlin and Lynch, Pat Flannigan, McFadden, McPhearson and Finch Hogan and Logan, Fitzpatrick, O'Bannigan, Danny O'Doole and Seamus O'Tool!

It's a great day for the Shamrock, for the flags in full array
We're feeling so inspirish, shure because for all the Irish
It's a great, great day.....

It's a great day for the Irish, it's a great day for fair
Begosh, there's not a cop to stop a raiding
Begorrah all the cops are out parading
It's a great day for the Shamrock, for the flags in full array
And as we go a-swinging, every Irish heart is singing
It's a great, great day........"

Do I have to wear clothes if I paint myself green?

Don't slip in Melkor's sick and let's get the drinking started!

I panicked.

Thank you for the welcome, it's good to be back. You may notice that in the MIA thread I took the opportunity to sneak up behind you and whack you in the back of the head. And yes, to answer your next question, that clear liquid coming from your ears is indeed cerebral spinal fluid and not sweat like you had originally assumed.

I love me some drinking shanties!

YouTube- Scolding Wife
Not sure what the video's about, but it's a great song

Ok, not so much a drinking shanty, but imagine yourself singing that while dancing around on a wooden tall ship at dock with a dozen or so of your drunk mates.
Now that's real fun.
(I really do love my life sometimes.)

I'm getting drunk with the forest tonight!

*ahem* I mean uh, I'm getting drunk with friends in the forest. We'll bring blankets, alcohol, chips, some kinda music player.

Okay... I'm kinda just doing it so that I can get drunk with the forest. I <3 my forest.

The forest only loves you back if you don't leave your bottles and cans behind. You can puke on it though. It doesn't mind that. :D

Yes yes! I was going to bring a trash bag specifically so we could Leave No Trace.

We're going to be drinking on top of a water tower, that's kinda embedded into the hillside? And it has railing around it, so we can fall off. Great view, and you can lean over the railing and puke, and the puke will go down like 30 feet. :D

Also! It's within walking distances to my house (and the houses of a lot of the other guests). GONNA GET CRUNK.
