Some say he's just putting it on, but I saw an interview with him and it doesnt seem that he is. If you think about it there are lots of people like karl, many people from my work are like him and would be hilarious to talk to about the same subjects.
His judging function would be Introverted as he has this strange subjective world he has built. He would not have Thinking as his primary function for obvious reasons. Im thinking his primary function could be extroverted and his strange ideas are due to a less developed introverted judgment function. So ESTP.

Hi! Im new to this forum, and also new to the certainty that I am an INTP.

I am also a huge Ricky Gervais show fan and consequently a huge fan of Pilkington.

Thats why I searched this forum with the keyword phrase 'Pilkington' because it crossed my mind if there is anyone out here confident to analyze Karl Pilkington in a typological way

bump for justice!

*edit*

and after posting that I read that someone already has

time for one of my classic INTP aftershame

although I cant agree with ESTP as a final conclusion, for I have listened to the man in such a magnitude that I am completely convinced of his magnificent iNtuition (although he is a bald mancy moron with a head like a fuckin orange)

What? Is this a joke? He's obviously INTP.

Probably an ISTP.

You can see where his ideas come from, taking a literal, and sometimes almost stupidly concrete view of something, and then interpreting it from his own strange view of the world. Indeed, it seems like he lives in a world separate from our own. This I think is pretty Se-Ni.

As for Ti-Fe, I think he certainly tries to justify his frameworks logically, but there are some things he simply doesn't believe because they don't agree with his world view.

I personally love the episode where he has to consider what he would do with a doppleganger and he doesn't know how he would know which one was him.

My friends think I'm exactly like Karl Pilkington. Which is very insulting because He's an idiot, and I'm certainly am not.
Though I suppose I do have weird ideas floating around in my head.

I think Karl Pilkington is INFP perhaps. He definitely has Ne and Gervais needs his strange ideas to shoot down and laugh at with his (Gervais's) Ti.
