For those a bit spooked, or off-put, by the often cryptic language used by Jung in his works, this is a *skeptic-friendly* version of his concepts :D, as explained by Jordan B. Peterson.

He covers many of the core elements of what archetypes are, why they matter, how they are real (and in what capacity/angle), but also ties this in to a much broader worldview he holds, stitched together with the insights of a variety of other psychologists such as Freud, Piaget, Rogers, Nietzsche, etc.

His whole lecture series is online, and is fascinating too. Would recommend.

Mufasa: ESTJ. Family/people mentor. ENFJ their super ego types are societal mentors.

Petrson is not TP type because he is attached to people's lives. Any idea of his personality?

He explains a lot. Thinks while speaks which makes him Reinin dichotomy of dynamic type. Te type possibly Fe. ENxJ or ESTJ?

I don't speak my mental imaginery to this extent or verbalize.

Seems bit self explanatory. Ni type, I think. Speaks about dominance which is indication of Ni/Se type.

So which one is it:ENTJ or ENFJ? I think he is ENFJ.

Well, by Jungian Analysis I mean analytical psychology, not MBTI (though that's a curious take on the characters).

Roughly, the typology would go:

Mufasa: Great Father (King)
Sarabi: Great Mother
Scar: Dark Father
Nala: Anima
Simba: Hero/Self
Rafiki: Shaman/Wise-Old-Man/Eternal-Self
Zazu: Messianic Spirit

Kingdom of Light: Consciousness (Domain of the Good/Great Father)
Elephant Graveyard: The Unconscious (Domain of the Dark Mother/Chaotic Nature)

Jordan Peterson is amazing.

Indeed. He's blending together the broadest comprehension of human nature that I've ever seen --- tying it from evolutionary roots down to our emergent political ideologies, the origins of religion, personality, etc.

I'm curious about what you think of him though.
How would you say your ideas align or differ from his?

My erudition and command of science is an ant compared to his praying mantis. I am not nearly arrogant enough to find myself able to contradict him. There is so much left for me to learn. I would just like him to reckon with Julius Evola's ideas, although I know it is improbable given the obscurity of Evola and Peterson's personal aversion to a strong authority as well as the toxicity with which reckoning with truly right-wing ideas would be received.

Jordan Peterson is like my father-figure. I have listened to a few of his courses in total.

He has made me lighten up on my desire for a fatherly figure to establish himself as head of state and government. I now appreciate that I must reckon with the worst of nihilistic impulses if I want to survive the chaos of these times.
