For INTPs only please, rate your entertainments, out of film, music, visual (art and photo), video games, etc. What do you like the best and why? Vote your number one above.

Music, reading and video games are what i generally cycle between, the games I play are mostly mobile games like clash of clans etc though.

Reading, video games and film(includes series, anime etc.) tie for first place.
Music a close second, but it's emotional satisfaction surpasses the other mediums.
Visual entertainment I usually garner from landscapes and observing people instead of art and photos.

I voted for sports, but that is really limited to weights training, which I spend a couple hours doing every day and much of the rest of my free time doing all the non training stuff involved (planning, interpreting recorded data, eating, supplementing, researching, etc).

Reading for me. Most of my information comes through that channel and fiction is like high quality full 3D experience. Video games and music at second and third places respectively. Theater is nice, but does have the minuses of inconvenience and presence of other people.

Yeah, picking one out of these options is probably not gonna yield a very accurate results. Not an INTP but I don't really know if I watch more movies or play more games or which ones my favourite.

I put video games because it takes the most time, but I think it'd be unfair not to mention reading and music, they're all very dear to me.

I voted reading because I find it the most fulfilling, though not necessarily the most time consuming.

Reading... even though I don't do it as much as some of the other ones(does reading the internet count?). It's the most fulfilling. Music is a close second.

I agree with Architect. Just try to choose only of them, the results will be interesting.

My choice was easy though. Reading. Both fiction and non-fiction. It's not just what I like best: it's the only entertainment I truly enjoy.

If lurking this forum and the internet in general count, then reading is basically all I do in my free time, apart from watching movies once in a while.

What I mostly do in video games is reading, I mostly play text oriented games, with good descriptions and well built stories, cRPG, jRPG, sRPG,

I also bought games because I found their soundtrack amazing and concluded that the game is going to be good from that basis, the Guild Wars series, the Elder Scrolls series,

My favourites from music also have great lyrics, my favourites from the visual have great scripts and music.

I think, given what the impetus of the question seems to be, it would be good to reformulate it into the classic "If you had to live on a deserted island for the rest of your life, but you could take one thing, what would it be?" formula.

I thought of that but decided against it because that would impose particular constraints. For example, I'd have to say that in regular life Music is my favorite entertainment. However if I was stranded on a desert island then I'd definitely pick Reading, as that would be the most beneficial if it was my only entertainment. That's because it would also provide the necessary intellectual stimulation, which I get otherwise in real life so music takes first place.

I'm specifically looking for answers in normal life, and the results bear out what I expected, more or less.

Yeah I guess, I mighta put the limit at two, though it'd be nice if one could do a poll where you're given numbers to assign so that you could put 3 on your most prefered entertainment and then 2 and 1 for the next in line.
