No, not mundane questions like does God exist or not, but something like:

If you had to choose between saving your child or the very last Bible on face of the earth, which would you choose? I ask this to people to fervently hold the sola scriptura dogma and enjoy the reactions I get from them. If you were a Christian how would you answer this and why?

Add some more if you like.

All comedians have been paid to make jokes about fundamentalist Christians and made fun of them. No one would ever ask you anything, it isn't like non-Christians have more interesting worldviews.

I can ask loaded questions like:
Is incest immoral? Who did Adam and Eve's kids have kids with?

As much fun as it is watching them try to squirm out of their own nonsense I wouldn't call it "interesting", more like predictable and sad.

I think the 'is it good because god wills it, or does god will it because it is good?' question is interesting.

If I were to answer your question, I think I would sacrifice the doctrine. With my current world-view, if something is not evident without indoctrination, it's not worth preserving. I wouldn't be able to hold this value if I were a Christian. However, I think that I would trust in God to forgive the people that came after me, as they had no opportunity to learn the Truth, a loving God would not hold them accountable for their ignorance. He'd either re-enlighten them, or make an exception. In the meantime I'm pretty sure He wouldn't want me to kill my child.

I find the notion of God and the association with 'good' confusing. There are non christians and christians who doubt God because bad things happen to them and the world, but if God wanted everything to be good, then wouldn't God have perfected everything from the beginning?

Like, "God hurt me! WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! God's not real!" - kind of thing.

It makes more sense that God would have intended for things to unfold naturally, so that we should figure things out for ourselves, and therefore actually become truly enlightened and graceful beings rather than scared little pathetic, self-flagellating repressed drones. Hence, the 'enlightened' path, and that path could take many terrible turns, depending on how quickly we learn.

So when christians talk about 'good' - what does 'good' actually mean? You cannot force people to become good, because that would not be good, so why all the preaching, wouldn't it just make more sense to shut up and instead lead by example, because ultimately, the outcome would be the same? Yes, fine, have churches, but don't push people in there, just keep the doors open.

Abraham was willing to sacrifice his son, cause God told him. To test his faith. The last moment angel showed up and stopped Abraham from killing.
Better one - God sacrificing Jesus for humanity sin redemption.

Those could be angles for Christian to work around with your question .
Saving last Bible vs saving child could be seen as less severe - You let child die.
(Which itself is interesting moral dilemma - is letting - killing and with same/similar magnitude of action? Are intention valid or just result - death?)
God voice in dream, illumination, being chosen one etc. Since God can't do wrong - killing child can be seen as part in greater scheme, God's plan. Faith makes people commit plethora of atrocities - creative mutilations, death methods.

My question(s):

1. God (his intentions, plans) is a mystery to man, he can not understand God, he must believe - God and his actions exceed the possibilities of man understanding (for example, the existence of evil in the world)
2. Man claims that he knows the will of God, writes it down in sacred books, preaches in prophecies.
3. If the Creator's activities transcend the understanding of man, how can man know the will of God?
4. How can a person distinguish between the will of God and the deception of Satan?
5. Why organize human life based on will of Being whose motives you cannot understand?

Is it not possible to replace the fetish for subservience with something else – say, BDSM?

edit: this was a very insensitive joke. I'm underslept.

Well actually, there were other humans that were created besides Adam and Eve. They just were the 'first', whatever that's supposed to mean.

Everyone capable of reading Korean died in flash wave 2. It is impossible to ever know what the book says. I'm not Korean.
