According to this test, I'm only 35% intelligent linguistically. However I do correct people all the time when they use the wrong word, don't know the meaning of a certain word, I use fancy words naturally (sometimes even have to rephrase my sentences for teachers) and I enjoy writing. I also don't make any mistakes when writing, without knowing a single English - or my own language - rule.

Just makes me wonder how 'accurate' these tests really are...

You missed a comma, used a comma instead of the word 'or', have poor sentence structure, missed an 'I', used hyphens instead of brackets, and incorrectly put "accurate" in quotation marks. I don't care about grammar, and normally don't bother pointing out mistakes, but this is certainly more than "no mistakes".

I'm also not telling you you're bad at language, only that you're probably not as good as you think you are. Thirty-five percent does seem low, these tests are certainly not definitive. You might consider that lingual ability is only one of the eight factors the test was intended to measure, which implies it is for a broad overview only. Also, the test might be designed for a different demographic.

Finally, reading/writing/lingual ability inconsistent with general intelligence may be indicative of an underlying disorder. I did not take the test, so this is all speculation.

Of course, the test could just be bad, as you say.

Actually I'm always in a rush when typing, and I do not check what I type. That's because of the pain in my fingers due to my keyboard. I do that only when I write an article or something alike. AND, English is not my native language. We have very different rules about commas, for example.

Whenever someone says that English is not their native language I always wish they would specify what their native language is, in fact, for pure reasons of curiosity.

Hum, I'd say he/ she sound like someone from a German-speaking or Scandinavian country. Could be totally wrong, though :)

What marks do/ did you get at school in foreign languages and/or your native language?
The fact that you enjoy writing doesn't prove that you are good at it, it could just mean that you enjoy it more than some other things. I love maths and science, but I'm rubbish at them.

I'll take that test now.

I don't believe school marks represent your understanding of the subject. That's a general opinion, based on what we learn in the schools I've been.

My marks were poor, as my native language required me to read books in native language, which I have absolutely no interest in. When writing something, we had to use some quotes or something like that from what we've read, so that went bad as well. Another thing is that we had to explain why "marks" is "marks" and not "margs," which means that I had to learn rules, which seems pointless to me when I could simply write the words without knowing the rules.

As for the foreign language, English, I've learned nothing at school. When I could speak pretty well (as I can now), others couldn't make a sentence without at least 3 mistakes. I always made mistakes that day after having an English class. I used to get good marks in speakings (when the topic was right, as I was too lazy to research the other topics) and writings (same situation with topic). I got bad marks at grammar due to the required explanations, and for translations, as I didn't know the word in my native language when I knew it in English. Another case was "exact" phrases, expressions, of which some of them are real dumb. We had to learn around 20 exact expressions and then translate a sentence from our language by using those. I never liked using someone else's work, especially when it's as concrete as expressions (or not related to the topic - quotes). In fact, I find some of those expressions idiotic, and some not even used by anyone I chat with, and I have chatted with a lot of different people from UK/US/CA/AU over the years...

I usually got bad marks in other subjects too, due to my lack of motivation to learn the "concrete" things that I found no practical use for or simply wasn't interested in them. I always loved everything that required pure logic, while the rest of the class hated that. Mostly that was maths, chemistry and physics, however over here we mostly learn things that require reading some boring material and them remembering what you've read. I can't do that, usually my mind wonders on something interesting instead, and even if it doesn't, I can't keep my mouth shut and don't remember almost anything.

Well he did say linguistic ability - unless typing ability somehow correlates to that, which I'm sure it does... But someone's typing shouldn't be made fun of because their 35% linguistic ability.
