So - I'm WoodsWoman. I may already know a few of you considering the avatars I'm seeing.

WoodsWoman is descriptive of where I live - not a reference to Anne LaBastille.

I'm not sure who Anne LaBastille is, but I do know of woods. Do you have a woodsman to keep you company?

Welcome to the forum.

I hope you find the place suitably enlightening, though I suspect that you'll have to sort out the P's from the J's first..

Welcome,
If there does not seem to be a thread going at this time that perks your interest in a suitable manner, the archives are full of threads that can be given new life by an interested commentator...

How was young adulthood for you? The INFPs I've had contact with are... well, they just seem a bit extreme. And that's awesome in a lot of ways, but they also seem to have an unstable streak in them. Supposedly they develop out of it?

Welcome aboard!

Infp's are Gods children.

I think so anyway.

That explains why I enjoy hurting them.

Lovely little F's!

In seriousness *does serious face* I find myself quite attracted to the INFP way of thinking.

Much in the same way I enjoy watching kittens bash themselves unconscious while trying to headbutt their reflection.

Of course you do, those who open their hearts are most easily loved by others.
That's why everyone thinks us Introverted-Thinking types are freaks.
...
Aside from the fact that we are.

Welcome WoodsWoman!

Quiet Cognisant, you're making me look uncool in front of the lady!

Thank you all for the welcome.

Anne LaBastille wrote a book called Woodswoman.

I do not currently have a WoodsMan.

I've been fascinated by MBTI for about 4 years and the J/P dichotomy hasn't been too difficult (usually). My husband was an ENTJ.

It's nice to know that one might not get shot for resurrecting an old thread now and then.

As a young adult my introversion was already well developed - I was loaner. Becoming a healthy adult is a challenge for all types, each erring in different directions. Given the chance we do grow and mellow. - - Though I'm not sure what you mean by 'extreme'?

Freaks? I don't think so... and macho status has to be earned...

Necromancy is not only accepted, but encouraged! Tis' one of our all time favorite pastimes.

My ears are burning...

Welcome WoodsWoman.

I apologize in advance if I end up being offensive to you (or anyone actually [but not everyone. There are some people I try to offend]).

It's interesting to see more types here. I hope it's enlightening or whatnot.

Thank you, Zero, offense is in the eye of the beholder (like most things) - I've learned to ask for clarification before taking anything personally. It's amazing how much this helps.

Wow, I am excited to welcome you the forum!
I'm bad about welcoming new people since I am so territorial and I find every new person suspicious. :)

However your statement

Thank you - my life is chaotic so my attention may be sporadic but will be lurking around... and posting here and there.
