i think one of the major indicators of non24 is ur sleep patterns are everywhere, which mine are.
If you exercise more in the morning, you will sleep better at night. I run into this problem all of the time. I spent too much time researching and on the computer, so I never actually get tired. I would go for weeks or months without sleeping. When I exercise I can sleep and end up feeling better during the day. This might be the solution to your problem, you are not physically exhausting your body so there is no reason to sleep. Sleep is to repair the damages that you do to your body so that it will be stronger, but you are not damaging your muscles.
Eating more vegetables and healthy crap will help you sleep. The green part of vegetables contains melanin. It is not the same as melatonin, but it has the same effect in my opinion. Mushrooms contain melatonin, and you can get pills that will help you sleep.
I started drinking blended smoothies in the mornings (frozen strawberries, frozen blueberries, apple juice, and a few spoon fulls of Greek yogurt). Eating breakfast would make me sick too. But this clears out that feeling and you have more energy during the day. Plus, it's probiotic with healthy sugars. Eating healthy clears out your system and you will adapt to whatever you eat so after a while it will taste better and unhealthy food will make you sick. The transition is difficult but it only takes a few weeks of commitment and you're on the other side of the fence.
If you exercise and change your diet to include more variety of fruits and vegetables, you will feel a lot better and start sleeping.
Also, you might have too much on the brain before you go to bed. Try to find ways to clear to head leading up until bed time. That will keep you awake.
Also, get more natural light. In the morning, open the windows and let the sun wake you up. It feel horrible at first, but after a while it feels awesome waking up naturally! Indoor lighting does not typically have the correct spectrum of light but you can get natural white light bulbs. I sometimes use photography lights because they are the right spectrum. Sun will reduce feelings of depression.
You can make small changes and dig yourself out of this hole that you're in. You can do it! Have a fantastic day!
