I've been listening to the same albums for the past 2 months and I'm starting to get depressed.

Here are some artists that I currently like:

I suggest checking out The Cat Empire if you haven't heard of them. They're pretty hard not to like.

Do a search for Lady Danville music. I have been listening to their music for years.

This is a waste of a first post, but I'm such an idiot for music that it's not even funny. You might like M83, I'd suggest some songs, but that would lead to an endless list... and I'd end up branching off into other music... ranting all the way. : |

I could offer you a playlist full of music, if you want. 8D
Can't promise you'll like everything, but you might find some songs and artist to take back with you.

Try the Scott Pilgrim Vs The world Soundtrack, it has bands like Metric on it witch are so good in my Opinion, also my favorite artists include "Akeboshi" (a japanese folk singer) and "Trespassers william"

@Shoeless
Thank you, I downloaded Schnittke.

@Anthile
Reminds me of New Order. Good stuff.

@asantewaaphillic
It's alright I understand. I have a M83 album but I've only listened to the first 2 or 3 songs.

@kibou
That's great, thank you. I don't have much classical. I've been listening to Shostakovich lately.

Schnittke and Shostakovich rock. If you like them, then you might like Messiaen, Elliot Carter, Jay Greenberg (a teenager!), Antheil, Bartok, Copland, and there are too many to name.

And for other genres: Warpaint, Regina Spektor, MIA, Black Lips, King Crimson, and Dead Weather are nice.

EDIT: sorry, looks like you have MIA. Well, she has other albums!
