Skeptical newbie, here. Just did one of them interweb test thingies, and apparently I'm one of you lot. Not sure what it all means, but this seems like a good place to start auto-validating one's thin, possibly-vain and meek concerns. Isn't it all a just a load of old rubbish, this? Is it not just astrology for the MTV generation, all this type pigeon-holing? Can a seventy-question true-or-false quiz really tell you who you are? Sounds a bit like quackery to me. To quote Brain-that-is-called-Brian, "you're all individuals!"*

The short answer is: No, a seventy-question true-or-false quiz cannot really tell you who you are.

The long answer: I'll leave that to someone else.

Careful, there, EyeSeeCold, he's not the only INTP from Canadia on the Forum. There's at least... well, I guess at least 2 of us. Honestly couldn't tell you if there are any others. Honestly don't care if there are any others. In my opinion, the country you're born in should have little importance when it comes to talking to someone. If you speak a common language, that's all that matters.

And, yes, you're generalizing, eh. We do love our beer and igloos up here in the Great White North, but we aren't all hockey fans. I know a number of ex-pat Americans who are bigger hockey fans than any of my Canadian acquaintances. Igloos, dogsleds, beer... yeah, it's hard to beat a Canadian appetite for them, but hockey... no problem.

Alas, there is no test of any length that can tell you who you are... And although the MBTI is not really accurate into stereotyping people into What they are, it does indicate what one hopes to be, as it is based upon subjective preferences not objective fact.. (there are those who disagree that idolize the MBTI)

Well, thank you all for your warm welcome. Incidentally, beer + hockey = the zenith of awesomicity. So, offended I am not, EyesSeeCold, although I wouldn't call myself yer average plaid-wearing, lumberjacking, bear-eating, cut-him-in-half-and-he-bleeds-Molson Canadian. (I've been outside, and it's full of bugs!)
