I was always familiar with the keyboard due to the fact that I am always on the computer, but what really made me excel was taking a class in the 8th grade where typing was part of the curriculum as well, I was also the fastest typist in my class, I thought it was fun and saw it as a competition.

Doesn't seem to make a difference. I did it and it made me take some verification test because I typed over 100wpm. Then got this:

Speed: 112 wpm
Accuracy: 100%

Which is pretty much the range you'd expect based on what I got on the other test.

I'm actually rather surprised that I made 72nd percentile.
When typing things that make sense in my first language, I've been able to type 550+ correct keystrokes per minute, including proper accentuation and punctuation. I type much, much slower if I attempt to disregard such things.

72, I use 2 fingers out of 10 when typing. Or 4 if you count using thumb for hitting space and ring for back space. People really suck at this

I get between 50 and 55 on both of these.

I remember having to take a keyboarding class in middle school when I knew absolutely nothing about computers and didn't type at all. I managed to bullshit my way through the class but I still really, really hate homerow keys and proper typing methodology. I use a form of modified hunt and peck mostly using only index fingers. At the very least, I can hit most keys accurately if I know where I am starting from. Perhaps I should look into different methods of typing since I actually know the keyboard layout enough to do that now.

Interesting, I could probably improve my typing on a larger keyboard. I am currently using eight fingers, because there is not enough space to learn to use all.

Not surprisingly, Polish is a bit more difficult to type efficiently, also the user base is smaller and probably more indicative of experienced typers seeing as I am on the 62nd percentile and it should be probably around 80-90 as well.

for reference / cheating on the tests, in place of backspace (because the tests are word by word) you can use cntrl+a then backspace if you have more than 1 error in 1 word to more quickly backspace, although the best is to do as reckful does above and jsut quitz if u has an errr as it just slows u down monumentally
