Yeah sorry, I'm going to get a bit F here. How good is INTP forum?? It's the only place I feel intellectually challenged.

It's subjective. I mean, this guy> is probably sick of being stuck between these two birds, trapped in two-dimensional space around here. Either that, or he's just too dumb to realize he's not entirely surrounded by them. Maybe he's just doing a weird trendy dance for them, but he certainly seems disturbed.

Also, this guy seems intent on assaulting someone with a baseball bat. I'm pretty sure he's not actually playing baseball.

And smoking is bad for you, but this> guy couldn't care less!

Luckily, this place is redeemed by it's guardian (SJ? lol) angel>
and by this giant bird> , which is just so damned cute.

I've been in too man forums to feel intellectually challenged by them, INTP or not. I find that there are a surprising number of repeats.

What made me think of it is that I've been on twitter recently, and the things people post there are just so damn banal. I came to accept discussions of the ubermensch etc as the norm from hanging on here too long, and unfortunately in reality that's just far from being the case.

I don't pay much attention to what anyone else says on twitter, I don't really know why I bother having an account. I suppose half of what I post on there is banal, but if anyone else finds it interesting to read that I've just bought a wok then that's their problem, not mine. The thing preventing any meaningful discussion on twitter is the 140 character limit rather than the people using it I think.

I enjoy expressing my thoughts on this forum. I also enjoy interacting with other NT's, as I am lacking contact with them in real life. This place was awesome when I was recovering from my addiction. It really helped me sort out my life. Some members here have great life experience and give great advice.

That suits me because I get heaps of thoughts all the time and not enough time or motivation to go into depth with them all. The depth is kind of implied. Anwyay, my attempt to bring more meaningful discussion to Twitter seems to have failed. I might have to go back to talking about woks and the like. I don't have a wok actually, always wanted one though.

Awesome to hear this Toad. I think others have said it before and I agree - in some ways this place is better than a shrink.

I enjoy being here. Discussion is generally good and people put a lot of thought and effort into their ideas and suggestions.

We had thread going once about how therapeutic various members found this forum to be as opposed to other forums. For a time there was a real sense of 'community' here. We seemed to be losing that cohesion and I think that was partially the reason for the forum to be closed to new members for that short while, the admins and the older members saw that "community' dissolving and they did not want it to slip away...

How 'good' is this forum?
Someone once told me that we are ranked very high by Google if that counts for anything...
