How do you sleep?

I like sleeping with my clothes on, that way I just drop and fall asleep, get up and go on with my business.

Although that is impossible 6/7 days a week, as I don't live alone, and I don't want MORE shit from an xSFJ. I simply remove my pants and go to bed with the shirt or whatever I've on. I place my clothes on my chair in a way that would allow me to quickly take them in the morning and put them on, a half-tidy way if you will. I don't think I would ever wear pajamas, it's a waste of time how I see it.

I sleep on my stomach, which is odd, I believe. Usually a pillow over my head. I wouldn't sleep that way if there wouldn't be noise around me, of course, I think I'd try sleeping on my back instead too. I like it when I'm all covered with the blanket, my feet, head, everything. If I wasn't sleeping under a pillow, though, I'd just keep my head sticking out and everything else under the blanket.

P.S. Once again, I appreciate real and not out-of-context answers. The question is about your clothes, not if you sleep good. This is not 4chan.

I sleep in my boxers. I just slide out of my clothes and tend to drop them on the floor beside my bed (or in my chair... but generally there's a pile next to my bed.) Pj's annoy me. I need a blanket on me in order to sleep, tho i'll often have my feet sticking out from under it. I generally sleep on my side (foetus like) going onto belly, going from crawled up to spread out long depending on how hot it is. I've been trying to learn to sleep on my back, with some minor success.

While we're on the subject, do any of you dream? Perhaps liquid dreaming? (I rarely, if ever remember my dreams. If i do, it's vague glimpses at best.)

The hard part isn't dressing / undressing, that honestly takes me a couple of seconds. The hard part is getting out of my beloved bed.

Good John Lennon song btw.

I probably wear my pants to bed and my pajamas when awake more often than I wear my pajamas to bed and pants when awake. I may be insane.

I try not to sleep in my regular clothes for allergy reasons. I usually shower before bed for the same reasons (I also shower after the gym or stable, so I often bathe twice daily).

I battle insomnia so there's a long list of stuff I do to try to get a good night's sleep. I run a HEPA air filter unit as white noise plus I wear ear plugs. I prefer a room that stays completely dark until I wake up (darn you, sun *shakes fist*) so I have blackout curtains/blinds and I use a sunrise clock for both sunrise and sunset.

I need a room that's decidedly cool. I can't stay asleep when it's warm and sleep won't come at all if I'm cold. I sleep on my back and sides and use a custom pillow that's flat in the middle and raised on the ends, due to a spinal injury.

I like extra, extra soft pajamas and sheets: silk or a very smooth, soft cotton. Socks are optional. I rarely wear pajamas more than once between washings. I like a fresh, crisp, clean pair every night.

I can't sleep covered only by a sheet and need a substantial comforter, blanket or quilt, the snugglier the better.

I usually try to pick up and organize the room a bit before I go to bed so I can fall asleep and wake up in a neat room.

I can't sleep on a firm, let alone hard, mattress. I have never found such a thing as a too-soft mattress as long as the softness is flat and even, not uneven, slanted or with dips or lumps.

Sometimes I sleep with my head at the foot of my bed.

I shower before bed, every time, which is odd because I haven't changed my sheets in so long I can't remember having fresh ones, anyway I wear pj shorts only and I sleep on my side, starting on one side & facing one way, then waking up on the other side facing the other way, I reckon if I had a circular bed I'd rotate during the night :D

I've frequently been asked "who were you talking to last night?", which is interesting, especially since they're adamant I was talking with someone but nobody's been able to tell me what the conversation was about.

I fight sleep up until the very end, and use my bed as a desk. So I tend to fall asleep in my clothes when I finally do give up (usually against my will x3), and often with lights on or with a book or laptop on me. I always get all sorts of tangled in my headphones and wake up with my phone or other hard plastic objects under my shoulder blades.

I've got one flat pillow that I sleep with, and an old raggedy comforter. I wouldn't give them up for anything.

I alternate between tearing up the whole bed while I'm asleep-- I don't use sheets anymore (other than that fitted sheet) because when I wake up it's been ripped off and thrown on the floor or I'm being strangled by it-- or I go down like a log and never move. :3

I usually sleep with a single body pillow while on my stomach or side with my left hand below the pillow and my head and right hand on top. I generally like to be as unrestricted as possible and my amount of clothing is inversely proportional to how confident I am of my privacy. I hate socks. I'll have unusually horrible nightmares all night about the restrictive sensation.

I find smell to be important, although in this case freshly laundered sheets are inferior to sheets I've slept in for a few days. This is all mostly unconscious, but it rather dramatically changes how well I sleep.

On my back or side wearing only underpants/boxer shorts - mostly out of courtesy for the person I sleep with. I'd prefer to be naked really.

When it's hot, I put the bed near the largest window and sleep naked. Air-con overnight is overkill where I live, there's always a cool change late evening/overnight even in summer.

I have no idea how you can sleep on your stomach. So bad for your back, and all-around uncomfortable for your manhood.

Also:

Naked. With my pness all over the place.

The only true way to sleep.

LOL my brother sleeps face down, it's really funny to see. I sleep mostly in shirt/boxers. When I need to get things done, I sleep with my clothes on, so that, as you said, I can simply get up and go. Every few months, I sleep whilst wearing nothing but my boxers. Never sleep naked, do I, that;s strange.

In fact, no one would know where I am from by merely look up the times of my posts. It could be China, Iraq or Colombia, with my sleeping patterns.

I sleep in what I am going to wear the next day, when I want to sleep til 5 min to leaving time it is nessersary. I also sleep better with waterfall or fan running. I just hate the sound of silence.

That said I have no problems with pajamas or nightrobes. Just need the practical side at the moment.

On the sofa, in sweatpants and an old t-shirt. Normal pillow for head, blanket for feet. I'm not into getting all the way under blankets unless it's unusually cold. I used to sleep fully clothed, often including shoes, but it made the sleeping area smell like a sweaty grease pit. I've since reformed my lazy ways and now can't bear the idea of sleeping in the same clothes I wore all day.

On a side note I swim in my shoes and clothes. Well not always in shoes depends if I am wearing cheap old shoes or not.
