I'm not sure if this subject has already been posted, if so I apologize. Anyways, I absolutely, without a doubt LOVE traveling. I get many happy feelings through traveling, and though I rarely can do it, I am crazy about it. Im just wondering if this is a typical INTP thing, or just something based on personal life. Do you get strong feelings of happiness from traveling, and what places do you favor? Personally, I enjoy more secluded places such as a near empty beach during an overcast with a thunderstorm approaching, but I also like places full of people, as it gives another atmosphere entirely. For me, I rarely remember details of my vacations, probably none, but I do remember the ambience they left. It's this ambience that leaves this longing sense to travel anywhere, and discover even more atmospheres. Is this how INTPs remember their trips, or is it just me, and how my brain takes in data?:elephant:

hrmm... same here. i dont like travelling by flight to much distance. I prefer going to the beach with a few freinds for bout 3 hours and then go back. To think of it. I can hardly recall much of what happened. Just remember strolling around. Sometimes I would drive to my old school at night just to see how peaceful it is when its dark as opposed to city life.

Absolutely. I came to the realization that I feel most stagnated and stifled when I am forced to be still. There are moods I sink into where I simply exist, though there's a vague sense of really wanting something but I don't know what. Getting in a car and looking out the window seems to be the only thing that really alleviates this.

Dear yes, I love travelling (by foot) very much and experiencing new things. I substitute this with video games however. Love, yes.

Nostalgia for the future.

I also really really really enjoy travel. I don't prefer secluded places over busy places, I do tend to seek places where I can be free to move about independently very easily, ideally on foot. I do love and remember the ambience the most, the people and events always seem to fade away but the ambience remains.... My strongest lust is wanderlust. I wish the world was like in ancient times when you could roam the land and not be bothered by things like political borders and passports...

Underneath your bed.
I love traveling. Well maybe more the idea of travel. I'm to unmotivated or just to lazy to make plans.

What is it that's so appealing about walking without destination through a new city that you've never seen or set foot in before? If only I could capture that feeling of wonderment and happiness and put it in a jar.[/QUOTE/]

Exactly! A lot of the time when I go to school I have to sometimes imagine that feeling of happiness just to get through the day, if only I felt like that most of the time... I wonder how much I'd get accomplished....
