so im new. not much else to say.

my name comes from well, bees obviously, but also I had to go to a biomimicry lecture for one of my classes and one of the speakers talked about how the business he worked for based their business plan entirely on bees and i thought that was really interesting. hence, my name.

im an intp, and probably doomed to be average in life, though ill never be normal

so far this seems like a nice forum

Hi Beez. I hope you have a nice time here.

Don't worry too much about the current discussion on forum atmo. We have those from time to time.

Welcome.

Yes, welcome! ^^

I really liked the threads you've started thus far. Only three posts, and three different threads. Hehe, typcial INTP behavior; initiating a topic then simply sitting back to observe and analyze the results. :)

Bees are great! They make honey and they help the ecosystem (yep, the secret's out :)). Anyways, welcome.

Seaweed

The roots of seaweed in the ocean floor provide insufficient support for attachment yet they remain in place. This is due to the motion of the seaweed when the liquid is moving past them. The seaweed spins like an inverse propeller which counteracts the force of the current. This method of achieving a stationary position is highly efficient. The concept has been taken from seaweed and had been applied to industrial systems. As a result industry now enjoys a more efficient mechanism of moving fluid.
