Thanks for the laughs in all of that.
My children are homeschooled. We travel several times a year. Most recently (November & December), we camped out on Cumberland Island National Seashore and visited the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge. On a separate trip, we drove around Florida visiting St. Augustine, the keys, and (most importantly) camped out in Everglades National Park. While in Florida, my son developed an interest in manatees. So, we also stopped by the Manatee Viewing Area near Tampa.
I've been food gardening for about 11 years. We grow our own tomatoes, green beans, squash, spinach, peppers, pumpkins, etc. We try to add new varieties every year to learn about growing different types of plants and keep things interesting. I have become more interested in starting my entire garden from seed and have been learning about saving different types of seeds for a couple years, now.
I also crochet. However, I mostly start crochet projects and then just unravel them out of boredom with the pattern. LOL When I do finish something, it's usually because I make up a pattern as I go along.
I enjoy photography and am considering entering some of my photographs into a local exhibit at a Nature Center. They begin accepting entries, today. I still haven't decided what to enter. :-\ But, I enjoy photography and processing photos.
I also thought I would start a blog. However, what I most like about that is tinkering with the themes/plugins in Wordpress. I like to play with the code to get things just the way I want them.... and have little interest in actually blogging.
