Hi everyone. I guess I'm the new guy in town (figuratively speaking of course). I just wanted to say hello. It's nice to read through this forum and find a whole bunch of people that think the way I do. In fact it's a huge relief as I do not know any INTP's in my real life and was beginning to think that there was something wrong with the way I am.

Happily that's not the case.

So where do I start. I'm 25, pushing 26 very soon, I work a tedious manual labour job but it pays the bills and provides the base for my true love, making music. Music of all kinds absolutely moves and fascinates me and it's nice to see here that other people get the same responses I do to a good tune.

I'll stop now as I'm starting to feel like a narcissist but I look forward to getting to know some of you here better and hopefully sate my craving for deep conversation that is so sadly lacking from my real life.

You'd have trouble getting past all the hair. The real reason for the name is actually quite boring in comparison to some of the ideas being bandied about here so I'm not too quick to reveal the true meaning. If I ever will. Always nice to keep an air of mystery about oneself.

I'm still about, life has a habit of keeping me quite busy at the moment and tired at the times I'm not so I haven't been on the net so much.

I do think this is like a self help group. I think that's the great thing about it.
