Hacking/Moding?

I'm curious, how many fellow INTPs hack/mod?

I myself have "the bug," so to speak --
Give me a PS2, PS3, Xbox, Xbox 360, iPod, Cell phone, and I can modify it, unlock it, etc, etc.

Anyone else find themselves immersed in the modding world?

yes, but not much to mod on a ps3, the main thing i mod is psps

I did a PS1, 5 Xbox gen 1's, a V3C, and now a iPhone. Two of the Xbox's were hardware mod, the rest softmods.

As far as the original Xbox goes, I've only ever done softmods. Although, I'll admit the softmod + HD change (friend had 250 GB HD he wanted installed) was a pain in the ass. I actually prefer the PS2 Softmod, as well... Mainly because I don't want to bother with soldering. (I know it's a lot different, but I used to weld for a living... Anything similar just makes me not want to do anything) I'm actually working on my first 360 (Simple flash) but I broke the cheap ass PCI SATA card I bought, and have decided to wait till shortly before Winter break before buying another one -- I'm already upset that my free month of xbox live gold was iniated the moment I signed up for silver, considering I have two weeks left and haven't used it at all...

Thanks Venngennce, just signed up to pspiso, what a fab place, full of useful software and hardware mods for psp's pc etc. Will take me a while to get round it all but will start by licreasing the speed of my pc. ta very much.

i do my fair share mainly with computers phones laptops and xboxs but i have begun programing antiviruses which will float around my pc and delete other viruses

anyone who is new to hacking or modding i advise read up on what you are doing as a mistake could be quite costly

or you could ignore all my warnings and make your own mistakes like i did (weep)

I'd strongly advise against attempting the ps3, use a 360 instead.

I've Hacked....

-My PSP, Running M33 currently
-My DS, have a M3 DS real, although i don't consider it 100% hacking because I'm using hardware.
-My Phone, an ATT tilt. I have a custom ROM installed.

I would hack my 360 but i haven't had the guts to buy a modchip.
