Oh, A claim is where you say what role you are. So for example that would mean telling everyone that you are the sherif. In some setups there is something called mass claim where everyone claims what role they are and you can solve the game that way sometimes. With a Doc and Cop with no Roleblocker, the Cop can claim day one and as long as the Doc stays alive the Cop can keep investigating people without fear of dying. That's why I just suggest that the mafia have a Role Blocker so Cop can't claim day one because the mafia RB can prevent the Cops night action from going through, so the cop wouldn't be able to investigate anyone. This makes it so the game is more reliant on the players skill of reading people rather than the whole mess with claiming.

For all players that are new, this should provide a general guide if you need it. I expect this game to be messy, because nobody has much experience and the demographic of INTPf is people that tend to shy away from mob logic. People will be experimenting, or overwhelmed with possibilities. Since you come in only knowing your own role as town, it can be difficult to hit the ground running because you can't trust your piers. If in doubt, check the guides.

Not sure if that can work. If you quit, you strongly imbalance the game. A mafia's job is to remove town by any means necessary. That can mean forcing them to make it feel like a job. Not my call, but it feels like you're incentivising people to force you out of the game, maybe you should give it a miss?

I don't know about this setup, but usually it at least starts off with only the host knowing.

Then, everyone in the spec thread acts arrogant af saying it's really obvious who is who.

Then it's revealed that the host leaked the roles to select individuals who were acting like they were blind but really weren't.

I don't expect the latter two things here, since no spec has an ideal of themselves as competent at reading people to live up to.
