I don't know is anyone is identifying with these people. That's a few INTPs I've found now. Seems like there are quite a lot of famous INTP actors huh? I think at least two of them have an Oscar (Rooney Mara and Marion Cotillard) so it's something we can do. Maybe I deserve a pat on the back for Hugh Grant.
Did anyone see About A Boy? That's got both Nicholas Hoult and Hugh Grant in it and one of the reasons that film works so well is that you can see how similar Hugh and Nicholas are.
The main things I look for in identifying INTP's is poor posture, looking down at the floor a lot and an inability to express themselves very clearly - finding it hard to frame a sentence correctly when they start speaking. Also losing the thread of what they are saying if trying to say something profound about the film, getting muddled, and losing the attention of the interviewer. Looking a bit tense etc. Flickering Ne eyes.
That Ben Whishaw interview is him being slightly in character as Q. Looks like he might have been filming it that day There are other interviews when he's not being so "bright" in his delivery. His portrayal of Q was kind of Super INTP.
Another thing I've noticed, is that some of the female INTPs go for shocking film roles: Rooney Mara has a really disturbing nude rape scene in "Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" and other sex scenes that I think would be really awkward to do, ESPECIALLY for an INTP.
Aubrey Plaza, INTP, is about to star in a comedy called "The To-Do List" which is about a sexually inexperienced teenager who is determined to overcome her handicap. I still can't, at 29, watch stuff like that with my Mum in the room so it seems weird that an INTP would put herself through that much embarassment in front of a Global audience. But I spose sexually inexperienced is INTP and would be a good fit for the role.
Amanda Seyfried, INTP, is going to play Linda Lovelace in the new biopic of Linda Lovelace, you know, the famous pornstar. Anyone else think this is a worst nighmare situation?
I'd also like to mention Konnie Huq, INTP, ex-Blue Peter presenter who is in my last post who - on a regular basis - goes on TV and makes a fool of herself as a political commentator. This is because her weak INTP articulation skills.
I think a lot of our problems are to do with nerves, but still why do we do it? Inferior Fe?
