How much can you score?

My score
Out of 72 faces, you correctly identified 39.
In other words, you got 54% correct.
On our previous version of this test, the average person with normal face recognition was able to recognize about 80% of the faces. If you correctly identified less than 65% of the faces, this may indicate face recognition difficulties.

For more information about face blindness and other face recognition difficulties, please go to www.faceblind.org.

JUST REALLY FCK UP. TOOK THE TEST WITH FRUSTRATED!:(

Cool test. I really felt like I was bombing so the 78% is a bit of a surprise. One of the faces was so incredibly bland, I'm sure that it comprised at least a third of my misses.

Out of 72 faces, you correctly identified
56.
In other words, you got
78% correct.

I thought I'd get 100% before the test began but then halfway through I thought I was giving the wrong answers, I suppose not. I never forget a face and I can always attach an identity to that face, recalling where I've seen them, history about them, things people have told me about them, etc. Even without having spoken to a person I'll recognise and recall details I've observed just in passing. It's stupid.

I'm also a very good poker player with results that far exceed any expectation, not sure if that's related as I can win both online and live - but I did get my love for the game playing face to face and I had a knack for reading lies and strength, which might not even be related.

First part stands correct for myself as well. I haven't tried live poker...I've tried some freeroll tournaments at pokerstars and it was fun...when I turn 18, I'll try playing poker for a bit...might make some money XD

Why wait? At 16 I was playing freerolls on Pokerroom.com, at 17 I was using my brother's ID to play live games at the pub, at 18 I was going to the Casino, at 19 I wasn't playing much poker, at 20 my brother started winning online and I thought I was better than him so I had a shot, at 21 I had turned $300 into $30,000USD in 2 months and my Brother had turned $5 into $20,000USD.

Poker is hell easy for people like me (people like us?). There's a few key principles you must follow, and from there the skies the limit.

I personally don't play much anymore because it's boring but if you sit me down at a table i'll generally be the best player at the table. And don't just follow NLHE, get into the obscure games where there's less information for other players to learn and get better. Razz is very profitable, so is Limit Omaha.

Have fun!

Can I add that when you're playing live, and 'your gut' tells you to do something - do it.

'My gut' tells me to do things all the time in poker that seem irrational and chaotic to other good players, but my intuition is so acute from playing hundreds of thousands of poker hands that I can make judgements and realise truths that other players can't.

I can sit with my brother at a computer at a Razz $10/$20 cash-game, buy in for $400, watch every player and understand their weaknesses and strengths immediately and I just tell him what to do and he does it. Easy few hundred an hour.

I never really thought about it but being an INTP is probably exactly why I am good at poker, and why I play such an 'imaginative' (read: scary/risky to 99% of good players) style.

At one point I would multi-table 24 Sit n Go tournaments at once, with an ROI of 20% over a 3000 sample. I started with 1 table, then 2, then 4, then 8, then I'd add 1 more every time until I couldn't handle it.

Only once did I have a massive headache and black out, and I played like that for a few months straight! The information I was processing at the speeds I was processing it were ridiculous. Playing live poker became offensive because people would take 5 minutes to think of an action that I would expect myself (and thusly others) to make within <3s.

If you're INTP you're a born poker player, so long as you put in the time to learn the patterns of players tendencies. Most people act the same way in every situation, and you can move them into that situation the same way you can ask people questions to talk about themself. It's really quite a beautiful game for my perspective, it's just the players that I loathe.

Playing live you mix with the worst that society has to offer, some really awful people. Online's ok for a while but it quickly becomes very lonesome work unless you have some people hanging out with you while you play.

Anyway gl with poker.

I have a hard enough time recognizing people that I actually know. I require repeated exposure and something to associate with the face. And even then I might not recognize you if I haven't seen you in a while or outside of the context I've associated with you.

My sister doesn't believe it, but I really don't remember all those people I spent an entire year with at college. It's pathetic really. It's not like we didn't spend a lot of time together either. :o

In my mind I created characteristics that suited the facial features shown on this test. For example one face reminded me of a facial reconstruction of a Neanderthal.
