Because the writers of Futurama had no distinct plans for Nibbler or his race when his character was invented. The program's humor is a combination of idiotic and clever dialog and plot devices. As such, the writers apparently thought it appropriate to name Nibbler's race "Nibblonian" probably because it fell in line with the show's theme.

They were placed here by the five forum founders: Gertie, Cobalt, FancyDress, Optimus, and Bob. You see, they believed that INTPs would benefit from having a universal written language by which to communicate. Esperanto being totally out of style, they decided to make up something on the fly. They were excited to begin such an innovative project and uploaded to runes right away. However, being INTPs, they quickly lost interest in the project. They were going to take the runes down eventually, but then they all died in a tragic accident. We left the runes up so we would never forget the dangers of playing darts while flying in a hot-air balloon.

I think when you heat it it loosens up a lot thereby making it more digestible which favored culinary evolution so I tried it with ice cream but it didn't work.

Right now because of money and the media. The parties are essentially rewarded for bickering and stonewalling. More generally, a two-party system perpetuates the false assumption that one party has the answer. Especially when you look at late twentieth century US politics, you'll notice a seesawing between both parties, without any real benefit to the country.

Not sure of the answer, but if males have fewer genes in their chromosomes, that would give rise to more extremes in variability (think if one variable, it's all or nothing); also males are more aggressive while females are more emotional giving rise to more thinking in males.

That's actually a clever argument. I would contend, however, that really smart women would be more apt to forgo childbirth altogether, for inter/personal reasons. Of course that's still compatible with your theory.

Cognitive dissonance is basically knowing something is bad for you but doing it anyway. So like smoking cigarettes even knowing that they probably cause cancer. One sort of tries to ease the badness of the decision, though, with little concessions, like saying smoking makes one more sociable/relaxed.
