Thinking of a topic name, I mean. All I could really think of writing was "hello".. And that seemed pretty stupid, very unoriginal.

Anyhow, I suppose this is where I should introduce myself. I always feel so awkward in these situations, I'm the first to forget a person's name.. My name is something I will keep private to myself, but you all can call me ayn. I'm fairly certain that I am an INTP, but I have also been certain of being an ENTP and INTJ in the past... If in the future you have other ideas of what type I may be I'd be happy to hear them. I'm always happy to expand my ideas/theories.

I am not all that knowledgeable in personality types. I had found myself very interested in them a few months ago, having some of my friends and family member type themselves. I lost interest in the whole idea until I entered a very unhealthy relationship(with an ESFJ, lol), and as I tried to look for answers I found myself reading lots on personality types.

I'm probably a good step behind most of you in realizations, having only been very self aware for a few years (the past 2 being the most aware) and I have only been reading on these types for a short amount of time. I find myself relating to a lot of what is posted, so I figured I have had enough lurking and I am ready to interact.

Oh yee yee, and I'm vice-prez of the computer science club at my university.

Is it wrong that I felt sexually attracted to the poster simply on reading the topic title?

I suspect so.

I only feel awkward if I'm trapped in a conversation where someone is listing the many virtues of his new pontoon boat, complete with a detailed history of his thought process in choosing that particular model, repleat with a description of the states of mind of his spouse and children in their reactions to the purchase.

A horror movie for INTP's would be string of such encounters.

So... no need to feel awkward. :)

Introductions are awkward, it's true. Nevertheless, welcome to INTP forum!

Ayn, about your avatar: Really, shouldn't you have a bloody axe in one hand and a human head in the other? It would do so much to make the thing more interesting. I mean, the first thing you think when you see a clown is "should I be afraid?" Why not clear up the ambiguity?

No ambiguity here. Clowns ARE scary.

So, other than be a scary clown what do you do?

Oh, I have no idea at all what you're talking about.

I mostly sit around alone, contemplate things and annoy people with my theories. I also am a computer science major and I spend all my free time google'ing or programming(or not doing assignments, you know how it is).

I'm pretty goddamn boring, but my facebook is rather entertaining.

I've also got some ideas like joining a yoga group, working out, training dogs, decorating room, designing tattoos, putting together websites.... but none of these things are really coming together.
