I am not actually serious about ENTP>INTP. But nobody ever goes on a thread that has ENTP in the title -_- . In fact I wouldn't be surprised if only 4 people post on this :=/ </p>
(Also don't read the last few paragraphs. Theyr pretty depressing.
)Anyway to the main point: from all the talk on forums of ENTPs and INTPs I have garnered a couple of main points:
ENTPs: are louder, more extroverted than INTPs. They are "all-over", which basically means they continually think about new stuff. They are apparently very good at presenting their ideas too. More energetic, less prone to schizoid and other medical issues that INTPs suffer from. Or maybe there are more in touch with society and as such wouldn't suffer from being dysfunctional like INTPs who are in my opinion more likely to shut themselves off from the rest of society.
INTPs: quieter, more introverted, spend more time thinking and as Adymus once said something about INTPs bringing information back to put into their theoretical systems. Something like that :=/ .
Nobody said what the ENTP system of thinking is better or worse at than an INTP one. As far as I can see ENTPs are told to be more extroverted and inventive versions of us. Also, no-one has said anything about the differences of an ENTP and INTP on an relationship and emotional level (when I say no-one I mean no-one went into it in any kind of detail.)
Somewhat off-topic depressed rant coming up: I mean I have to try extremely hard to be energetic, optimistic and not lazy. They are born with it. I am socially retarded, they generally aren't. I seem to be putting in all this hard work so I could become someone that is more like an ENTP. And I am still slightly lazy and this (15 years) is the first time I can say I am happy/content/optimistic. INTPs only seem to become happy when they become older; I don't want to waste my healthiest and most active years fighting myself so I could be a functioning person. And I am damn well not going to lapse into a miserable rut.
Or maybe thats what I am supposed to do. Maybe I am meant to waste my first 25 years of life thinking up weird shit that most people will never hear or care about. Then realise that. I could write a diary of my thoughts I guess. So I don't forget them. Maybe find some use for them later.
This might as well be the second type of questions for the thread: What is the purpose of INTPs in a society? To have careers we half like and spend most of the time thinking up stuff until we finally think up something useful. Although that might be never and implementing it might never happen too. So what; INTPs have to have shit early life so they could have the small chance of changing something? It seems we are saddled with disadvantages for intelligence that for most part will not help anyone or ourselves for most of the time. /end of rant.
Note: most of this article is opinions and some generalisations I got from YOU guys. Also I was pissed off while writing this. (I usually get angry instead of sad. I try really hard not to lapse back into my pointless misery even if I replace it with an almost equally stupid emotion.
