My hair has always been thin and limp. Supposedly to dye your hair blonde is bad because the bleach you put there has certain chemicals that are not healthy. That's what i've read. But, by just doing it once you think i'll damage it?
Try to not abuse your Si, i mean, explain me objectively what you know on the issue if you know anything. I don't know much and most internet websites explanations are quite meh.
Thanks.

It depends on your hair quality and how well you know what you're doing.
Chemicals can strip off the protective oil covering and dry out the hair.

Doing it once will be less damaging than doing it a lot, that's pretty obvious. I would find someone who has actually done this and get their advice and help (because they know what they're doing in real terms, and can also get a good sense of your specific hair), versus just trying it on your own, if you have no experience with this. You're likely to over or under-do it.

Don't do this on your own. A professional will use the right amount of bleach to get the color you want.

Bleach is very aggressive, the whole point of bleach is to strip the hair of its pigment entirely. Over treated hair becomes porous, coarse and brittle, and it often looks fried for the lack of a better word.If your hair is in decent condition bleaching once probably won't cause irreparable damage, but your hair quality will suffer and you'll need extra care for it. Your scalp might also get irritated from the bleach. Hair dyes can cause very severe allergies, so be sure to do an allergy test before using them.

IDK... I've done it before, and will proly do it again, but I'm not much help when it comes to such things. Read the instructions or ask Eminem.

hair has no health, it's just stuff hanging. its natural state is to act as reinforcement for protective and thermoregulatory lumps of mud.

Yeah, but if you mess up, you could end up with a very unfaltering bald spot.

I tried some pro photoshoping on some pics i had but i didn't like the results. Apparently my lips, eyes and eyebrows are too big for blonde hair. I would show it here but i don't want to see the born of a new meme.
I also try with black but i looked too emoish.
To be fair it wouldn't be the first time i dye my hair, it is just that i did it a long time ago, when i had like 17, dyed it blue, green with some toxic spray i bought from a chinese store lol and then blonde using bleach but it was just a lock of hair (or whatever you name it).

Bleaching damages, removes material from the strand. Adding darker color adds material/pigment to the strand and can actually make fine hair fuller and healthier looking. Red is the biggest material to add, and it wears off faster because of that.

The biggest mistake is reprocessing the area that has been processed before. Instead, just touch up the roots to match. Brushes for it are a couple of bucks at places like Sally's Beauty supply. And they sell some good quality or commercial grade dye products. to the public.

I also have fine limp hair. I used to 'damage' it by running perm solution over it to get a little texture. I find now that by dying it close to my natural color at the roots, and leaving the previously processed strand alone, that I get great volume, healthier shiny hair, and the bottom fades off as ombre. I used to spend about 120.00 every 6 weeks having it done. Doing it this way I'm at about 3.00 a month, and I have ALOT (almost no) damage.

And get a decent shampoo. A lot of them rip the color out of cheaply made hair dye (like Loreal, etc.)
