I was apparently left handed, but my parents and school wanted to spare me from a disability and scourge that would leaving me wallowing in squalor and despondency for a life time, and so I was behaviorally modified through a rigorous battery of ongoing exercises (namely, moving everything over and over from my left hand to right, when I tried to write or do anything) to favor the culturally beloved stereotype.

... My handwriting still isn't very good, but I do play the piano decently, which takes some left-hand strength and dexterity.
