Whenever I use sarcasm, people always think I'm serious. Sometimes it goes on so long that I have to stop and tell them either
a) I don't actually care
Or b) I'm joking

Almost no one can tell the difference
Does anyone else have this issue?

You may be deadpanning your sarcasm which usually leads people to think you're serious. Sarcasm often needs some slight exageration in inflection. It's tough though, good sarcasm is usually a little hard to detect. Making it too obvious makes your sarcasm seem asinine. (yes, yes. some people think all sarcasm is asinine. spare me.)

I have this issue, but it's because I make the most ridiculous statements with no facial expression that would indicate anything other than compete sincerity. I like screwing with people, so it's not a problem.

This happens to me sometimes. It doesn't help that I usually talk with the enthusiasm of Steven Wright. But when people don't get my sarcasm I generally either give them a look that says, "You're an idiot" or respond with more-thinly-veiled sarcasm. By that point they'll get the idea.

As a matter of fact I do.

It 10x worse online everyone seems to take my post too serious.

I like to keep things on the light side therefore I am rarely ever 100% serious however, you may never see this by response people seem to give me.

People think that I'm serious when I'm bullshitting all the time. I run with it until they finally realize, give me that "you bastard you were bullshitting werent you" look, and then cry laughing

Continue on! Harder! More! Get a team mate to back you up, until there's nowhere to run and the antipsychotics flow! If you aren't on speed dial from all the local shrinks, you arent trying
