Do INTP's tend to have Winter as their favorite season?

I'm an INTP and I really love Winter. Just thinking about it makes me wish time would fast forward to Christmas :D. The feeling of being cozy under the blanket, listening to Christmas music and browsing the Internet while outside is snowing at night is just magical. I also notice that those who are extroverts prefer Summer to Winter. Is there a link?

I have a nostalgic relationship with winter, I remember my childhood winters tucked up by the fire or under a quilt reading books, and being a hermit. I do the same today.

I enjoy summer because it takes me out of my nostalgic rut and I tend to be more pro-active and social.

My favorite weather, as we have currently, is in between the both, with raging storms, heavy rain and thunderous lightening XD

As a side note, I *hate* christmas, simply for all the massess coming out the woodwork for their materialistic interests.

I dunno. I'm not fond of "the holidays" or of being cold. Of course, I'm not fond of summer. I like autumn and spring.

I like to be able to be physically comfortable when I step outside. I like how pretty the world is. The sunsets and sunrises are at reasonable viewing times. The birds are switching out and the animals are most active. My car isn't going to overheat, nor will it need 10 minutes to get warmed up.

During the summer my brain isn't working optimally and I'm constantly tired. I can't sleep when it's too hot, I have longer migraines, sometimes week long.
During the winter I tend to underperform physically, my hands and feet get cold, I have an annoying almost constant rhinitis that gets stronger as soon as I leave from hot to cold and vice-versa.

The preferred season is the spring, autumns are slightly too hot but the rain makes up for that, so I'd go with spring>autumn>winter>summer.

Autumn is The Shit, of course. As I am looking out the window right now, it is almost perfect: no rain but completely overcast and maybe 15 degrees Celsius.

For some reason, I absolutely love the combination of overcast and dry ground.

How are you today
I like spring most because it rains a lot. Specifically early spring where its still cool in the daytime. I'd like winter if it snowed where I am, but it doesnt. Summer is too hot and fall is too leafy. Fall can be fun when it's overcast, it's kind of nostalgic, but I like wintery fall more than summery fall.

My current location is classified.
I'm with Tannhauser, Autumn is my favorite, although winter comes close. The controlled, moderated cold is what I love. The brisk, sharp air makes it great to go outside and just do whatever (usually nothing at all or just walking) without having to hear your conscience go "It's too hot/cold/rainy". And autumn makes it even cooler at night, setting up a spooky, amazing sort of tone.

Although I do like winter as well, the cold is welcome and the holiday season is generally ok with me, especially since giving gifts to friends that I want to give gifts to makes up for obligatory gifts that aren't well-thought-out.

I don't think seasons would be related to personality type. Personally I love autumn. Specifically October. I love the distinctive change of the season. I love the emergence of spices - apple cider, pumpkin spice, apple pies. Slight chilliness is the weather, warmth is the theme - bookstores and cafes. I absolutely love the small niches we can create of warmth in the mild chill, from the aforementioned bookstores and cafes, to even sweatshirts, blankets, drinks and jackets. I love the vitality that comes with braving the elements in a distinct contrast that creates comfort. And finally I have a strange tendency to experience the biggest thrills and moments of serendipity during October.

I generally list fall under my favorite seasons, anything colder tends to make me uncomfortable. Summer or spring are decent for their own reasons but aren't really my fave.

My family prefers winter. Summer has nothing to recommend it. All the sports people out kicking balls, going into the woods to pick up ticks, dirt and injuries, and it's hot, dry and bright. The lawn looks like shit in this drought.

Winter has mystery. Living in a Mediterranean climate we get beautiful wispy fog curling around the hills, the air smells moist and alive with promise, and when it rains we celebrate. That's a signal to stay indoors and be productive, you know nobody is going to ask you to go outside and kick some stupid ball around. Not like they do anyhow, but its the principle.

Spring and Fall are equally good.

In my younger years I always preferred winter, provided it didn't last > 8 months, and there was plenty of snow. I liked the long nights and short days; crisp, cold nights with billions of stars clearer than you'd ever see them in the more humid summer months.

The cold seems to get to me more now that I am older. Aches and pains get so bad I can barely walk some days. Skiing is no longer easy because of these pains, and that is kind of difficult to accept as I have always liked going for long, solitary ski trips in the country side. I am considering moving to a warmer climate for my retirement.

I used to have both winter and summer as my favorite seasons, and they all have their benefits. The magic of winter, snow and holidays, the long summer days, curative effects of sunlight on depression and lovely summer evenings, but as I get older I find myself disliking each more and more. Summer and winter both have extreme temperatures where I live, and both foster depression in me, for different reason, but mainly being forced to be indoors to avoid the harshness of the elements.

Currently late spring, early and late summer and my favorites.
