It seems a common theme for humans that we seek later in adult life what we were deprived of as infants... or maybe that's just the Freudian line of thought.

Should there be a positive correlation between men who were bottle-fed as babies and men who seek out the "large breasts" category on porn sites?

The political takeaway is that-- if conservatives wish to curb porn proliferation, it all starts with breast feeding.

The USA has a crazy taboo against breasts being shown. (This irritates me, as a woman. If a man can take off his shirt on a hot day, I want to do the same.) In many parts of Europe, people see breasts and, while I expect straight men probably enjoy looking at them, I understand there is much less fetishism and obsession about it there. Europeans are supposedly much more healthy and sane about sex than Americans. (Anyone from Europe want to confirm or deny this?)

I recently came across a different explanation for why men love breasts. This proposal is that nipple stimulation causes oxytocin production, which causes a feeling of closeness and bonding.

I'm not sure I buy that explanation, but it seems more likely than bottle feeding to me. In any case, perhaps we should put forward your idea as a way to promote breast feeding? Nah, I'm just kidding. The last thing I'd want to do is stigmatize bottle-feeding moms more than they already are. Let's just de-stigmatize breasts, instead.

I don't think it's as bad in the UK, but it's pretty similar. I can't remember a time I've seen someone with their breasts out in public, for example. But then I'm under the impression that we're one of the more sexually conservative European countries.

I wouldn't take off my shirt all the time, no. I would sometimes, depending on the situation. Obviously I wouldn't volunteer at my daughter's elementary school without a shirt. That is a professional environment, and I dress nicely there. But if I happened to be doing yard work or having fun at the beach, and it would be more comfortable, sure. Why wouldn't I?

I really think breasts are probably the most wholesome thing in the entire world, as far as anything to do with humans goes. (I sat around a thought about it one day and that is what I came up with! Breasts make everyone happy. They look pretty and they feel nice and even when they are serving their main function and purpose that purpose is making warm milk that is perfectly nourishing for humans.
