If you are confused go here.

Choose the one you think is the most subtly disturbing. The winner will get candy shipped to their home/address they choose to give me. Be warned.

Some of these I chose because the member did not make it clear which one they wished to go with. Deal with it.

The poll closes in a week.

Had it not been for the word subtly number 12 would have been a clear winner. It had also been a winner had the contest been Most Insanely Hilarious Avatar Contest.

Also: I guess the only solution is to make a new thread.

thank you for your unsolicited endorsement, but numbers one, five, and fourteen offer stiff competition. especially fourteen. steve buscemi on crack cocaine, in what looks to be a train car or trailer home.

I had to be old fashioned about it and go with #3. But some sort of Photoshop "adjustment" of #12 could add that little touch to make it the winner. It just seems to need just a bit more. Unfortunately I'm a bit low on ideas.

I wonder if people in this forum understand the meaning of the word subtlety...

It is clear that cog's unusually large forehead should win.

14 makes me grip my chair in odd discomfort. I cant quite place my finger on it, but I have a strange urge to leave the room whenever i see it.

I really don't like mine very much. I find it funny to look at, but I don't think it's subtle enough. I had a hard time finding subtly disturbing pics online. Perhaps I didn't know where to look. I have failed miserably, please don't vote for mine.

Hmmm, as for my fav, I found 1, 7, 8, 10, 12, & 14 to be the most disturbing. #1 inspired mine because babies are scary. #7 is pure awesome, though moreso than disturbing imo. #8 might be the most subtle, though I'm still not sure why. #10 proves that little kids make things more disturbing. I love that monster too. #12 is more funny than disturbing, but still quite disturbing. Then there's the haunting #14, which is probably the most initially unnerving one here.

Gonna have to go with #14. It's odd that I find it so disturbing. I mean, it's just a guy, what is there to be so afraid of? And it's not like he even has fangs or claws or anything, he's just a person. But it's the belief that he is more dangerous than any monster, that he could kill you without your knowledge if he really wanted to, that makes it so chilling. It also seems like he could probably read your mind. Besides, we all know Jesus would not actually do anything with those girls; they're obviously too ugly.

Yes, they are sealed now, but I think that there is a bottle of glue hiding in that room somewhere. Winner beware!

Too bad I kind of forgot to send in something. I read Uzumaki these days and I think a lot of the imagery would have been quite fitting. Otherwise I would have used something from Alex Pardee. Looks like this:

Unopened packages. Such obstacles can easily be avoided:

1. Find your amphetamine syringe and empty it

2. Wait to you feel a bit more clear headed

3. Put syringe with lethal poison, made from shrubbery bushes and happiness, into candy

4. Break into the chocolate factory and poison the whole thing before it's wrapped

You're slow!

In manga, that's not a good thing!

Cog is the winner! Appropriate since Cog originally came up with the idea of this whole thing.

That or this is a ridiculously complicated conspiracy on my part to kill him off so that I might claw my way to the top of this little anthill we call INTPF.

The ball's in your court. I vote somebody gives me Melkor's address.

those comely ladies put up a fine fight, but the lynchian quality of number fourteen was too much in the end.
