Destined to Doom?

I've started to ponder, probably I am the only one destined to doom. But judging by the letters I-N-T-P , I have noticed we barely can get any motivation to work.
Apparently, I dont seek knowledge I happen to trip on it and get consumed so its pointless to exist for me.

I - I am concerned with what I think not you. So I dont need to impress you.

N - I dont give a shit about whats real, I like my dreams and ideas.

T - You cant say anything to make me feel bad about myself.

P - Well, I don't care when do I *HAVE* to go to work or when class starts.

And I, most likely you as well, questioned everything to the point where its meaningless to do anything at all. Fairly logical.

Born to Die.

So really, we have been only alive because of Fs, Es,and Js without them no one would really bothered to let us live because we don't see the point of existence, we have gone through all the arguments and have learnt that this is just meaningless. If anything its the sake of our own current pleasures.

So my question is. Recipe for Doom? Can we do anything without getting bored first? ( I do well first quarter or even 10 days before saying fuck this and forget about the class or task)

Also on an unimportant question that is on the wrong thread.
Can we be any use in business or anything relating to market? Or should I just get out of this shithole because I am as useful as anyone being paid $150 a month to work when I am supposed to run it. Any luck in stock market? ( I have been told its useless, considering its "manipulated".)

remember that everything is grist for the mill. even when you think you're not applying yourself, procrastinating, or abandoning projects, you're still feeding your subconscious, which is an essential part of creating.

... Had to try my best not to laugh out loud when reading this in the library. And yes, INTPs are probably doomed. I've spent to many college hours searching for more information, so many random classes I should have a degree with the credits, but no. Are we the true jack-off-all-trades since everything is curious, atleast to me. [ooo, look shiney!}

I'm thinking the same exact thing.
Since I'm only 16, I'm only beginning to have less and less motivation for doing things. I reckon it'll just get worse until I spend my whole life sat at a computer.

yes, but do you really know. many long-term goals of today require persistence and assertiveness, and not raw intelligence per se. unless you are willing to roll up your sleeves, intelligence will only get you so far in certain avenues. for instance, jobs in academia, medicine, and law do require intelligence - intelligence benchmarks which can be evaluated beforehand - but they require other skills as well, some of which might be in short supply among this lot.

We should set up INTP camps/workshops around the world to help foster and combine our talens into one unified force. Not like MESA or anything, but institutions that help our lives directly and non-academically. For instance, INTPs could help other INTPs get easy jobs and other deals to make our lives easier.

I have a crazy grandma in MESA haha.. shes a physics genius but shes fukin crazy so it doesnt matter..shes a lesbian/hoarder with some kind of personality disorder, and she pretends shes a tough guy and intimidates people..shes also in a wheelchair and has oxygen haha.

But ya. Sometimes i wish i was an entj, apparently theyre good a work and shit..i dont know. We have to find some way where we can use our sense of imagination and apply it somewhere. Like art or something. Ive always wanted to be an actor filmmaker. It seems that society is built for a few types of personality and INTP isnt one of them, which sucks. All we can do is laugh at how stupid people are and make them feel like shit. Thats what i do to my family, and now they think that im crazy..

I think that every INTP should have some organizational specialist aid with them at all times, so they can put the INTPs ideas into reality..thatd be cool. Combining 2 personalities. One who likes to do tons of work, and an INTP. The INTP can use the other one to apply things to real life that he wouldnt do on his own. Im lazy as fuck. I have to write a dumb history paper, but instead im here and playing call of duty at the same time. And downloading video editing software, because my 30 trial ran out...

Isnt history stupid as fuck? i mean, i enjoy a good quick history about how stuff came to be, but in depth political history? fuck.History is literally useless. I have to write a paper about what i think about europeans invading America and killing indians to create the wonderful happy place i live in today..I think ill just argue that religion was the most imprtant aspect of the development of Colonial America..Thats should be pretty easy.

I disagree, history is a great tool for future insight in a lot of fields. Plus I'm attracted to the idealistic aspects of some historic events like WWII. But I agree that in-depth political history is boring, but the major stuff is pretty interesting.

I've thought of life as pointless for years... and secretly hoping that death would find me already. If all the other intp's are like me, they're never going to make a suicide - I'm way too lazy to do that. I procrascinate too much for it. It sounds like such a hassle.

Are you SURE that life is pointless? What if you just missed it or there was an error in your logic. Are you sure that if you stay home today, you won't miss something of interest in school?

When I'm not questioning those things, I tend to hoard all kinds of things that I find interesting around me to keep my motivation.

I frequently go through existential crises. I fall into a deep hole of analyzing myself and the world around me. Many times I get frustrated with the general ignorance and stupidty of people. Not that I'm a genius or anything but there are a lot of stupid people out there.

Usually I find solice in music or in philosophy, or my own creativity (photography). Sometimes, I just disconnect from the world for a bit (go and ride my motorbike for a few days/weeks).

When it comes to work, I motivate myself through my desire to learn and understand things. That's why I am an engineer I guess.

If someone asks me "what's the point of all this shit?" my current answer is to understand and figure this shit out haha; to understand and figure out anything and everything I can.

About history. I have always enjoyed it but never knew why. It wasn't until I studied the earliest history and worked my way up that I discovered every thing is connected in the most literal sense. When you look at it as a whole you see this grand pattern in life and culture which leads to what you are doing at a particular moment.

When you question why you do something, it never leads down the right road. To get over it you must either create a reality in which doing something is good, like a religion or something or live for the experience of life and hope you will find meaning somewhere along the way.
