An unbreakable bond
As INTPs which personality type is hardest for you to understand/get along with?
Is their a personality type that I as an INFJ should avoid?
Is their a personality type that I as an INFJ should avoid?
Yea, except ESFJs.nobody should "avoid" anybody based solely on personality type. that's... dumb.
ESTPs, if you truly are an INFJ.As INTPs which personality type is hardest for you to understand/get along with?
Is their a personality type that I as an INFJ should avoid?
I highly disagree. The partnerships you listed are the most rewarding. INFJs should keep away from ESTPs and ESFPs because they have conflicting life values. In one observed case, ESTPs harassed a defenseless INFJ because of the timid, reserved nature she had.For very close and involved relations INFJs should try to avoid ESTJs and ISTJs and INTPs should avoid ISFPs and ESFPs. Younger INFJs and INTPs may reject those functional elements that correspond to their tertiary and inferior but understanding and enjoyment of these functions grows with age. Usually in early 20s the tertiary function kicks in and inferior starts letting itself know around mid-30s or so. So as INFJ you'll start understanding ESTPs and ESFPs more as you get into middle age.
There may be conflict in values only in early life when both types don't make much use of their tertiary and inferior. But INFJs and ESTPs have all functions in common. As both types get older, they start to develop their tertiary and inferior and grow to resemble each other. This means less communication problems and less need to pretend to be someone that you are not as the other person is very much alike yourself but covers for your weaker points. INFJs have a Se fetish just like INTPs have a Fe one. It makes us feel good but we get exhausted expressing it ourselves. Thus we get drawn to types that have Se as dominant or auxiliary - ISxPs and ESxPs.I highly disagree. The partnerships you listed are the most rewarding. MBTI/Socionics confusion. There may be conflict in values only in early life when both types don't make much use of their tertiary and inferior. But INFJs and ESTPs have all functions in common. As for ESTP and INFJ that you saw in conflict may I inquire about their age?

This is exactly what I have done. As INFJ it kind of comes naturally to me - observing people and relationship patterns after they have unfolded and interconnecting what I have observed. And I have observed that people are attracted to those who have their tertiary and inferior as dominant or auxiliary. This was even before I knew anything about socionics. When I started reading about socionics I was surprised to discover the same pattern revealed there in their relationship matrix. It predicted exactly the same thing I suspected. And if you think about it logically it makes perfect sense that you will understand people better if they have all of your functions in common because they will just see life in similar manner (there is a reason btw why INTPs get attracted to ISFJs and ESFJs - take a look at their functions).MBTI/Socionics confusion.
What helps is observing your relationships with other people according to MBTI. The empirical evidence will contrast with what you think you know.
This is because you are MBTI INFP(FiNe) and Socionics INFp(NiFe). In Socionics, INFps are the ESTps dual (best relationship partner). For me, they are Semi-Duals, and I have had some intense enjoyable experiences in the past with them. This is exactly what I have done. In real life I conflict with ESTJs - no function in common between these two personalities and each one's dominant is the other's point of least resistance functions. Thus INFp and ESTj relationships are said to be that of conflict. And neither do I get along with ISTJs though these relations are more like of mutual cold respect. Given same information we don't see eye to eye for sure. But I get along with ESTPs and love hanging out with ISFPs and ISTPs. They drag me out to do stuff which it very refreshing and alleviates effects of dominant Ni for a while.
No I am indeed MBTI INFJ and hang out on INFJ forums. The other INFJs there often tell me that it is as if I read their minds when I describe my inner thought process in my posts. I very much identify with them as well. I have always tested as INFJ on MBTI tests, I relate to INFJ functional order, and never had any questions about my type. This is because you are MBTI INFP(FiNe) and Socionics INFp(NiFe). Pretty much any feeling type is difficult for me to get along with. They're always taking offense, being overly nice, making decisions based on how they feel instead of based on what would be the most efficient, etc. It's baffling and difficult. As INTPs which personality type is hardest for you to understand/get along with?

How exactly did you get the impression that I was limiting myself?if you're limiting yourself that much, you really need to expose yourself to more people. the world is bigger than that.
I have a question for people with INTJ friends...are they psycho or what?
This one from my old highschool added me on facebook. I've been conversing with deliberate speed as normal, but recently I made one damn counterargument on a post and he starts sending me indirect insults. WTF? I don't have time for this BS. As much as I am tolerant of different people and respect this guy's intelligence I would not want to associate with someone who cannot have the confidence to approach me upfront with conflicts.
