Can we discuss what an all INTP party would be like?

So imagine, a frat house style party. 30-40 people. All INTP's. All strangers. All unaware of each other's personality traits. What would happen?

Well, that depends on who you invite.

I attach little value to typology, but those classed as "intp" are not a homogenous mass of freckled nerds.

Some may be silent until a topic is discussed that they like, some may bring heavy drugs and trash the place(drugs are really bad, they always make you do that), some may be all haughty and uber-intellectual, some may have lives of their own and prefer to party with those they know rather than frat(? not sure if ya'll can verb that there word now).

Even then, I have found that there is almost always a norm.
Most of these "intps" will just be the normal beer drinking casual chatting humans that so irk me their with small ideas and idealistic lives.

So in a sense, such a party will be boring unless you invite the more insane variants.

There would be some awkward ones and some confident ones. Lots of talking about high ideas. The ones that think they aren't smart, or just aren't following along with the conversations, will move out of conversation zones. They will run into each other and start talking about some tv show or music.

The booze will bring a sense of openness to the party. People easing up. One busts out a mandolin and starts playing music. A few others also have instruments with them and soon join in.

A couple of them will signal each other, and silently head off to a back room or dark patio. The joint starts getting passed between them. One has some pills and offers them out. Some social lubricant.

The misfits return to see that a star trek trivial drinking game has started. On the other side of the room some of the quieter ones sit and listen to the jam session. One wearing funny colored pants is trying to flirt with a completely oblivious girl, that just thinks he wants to talk about plato's cave.

Soon the smokers will be out on the porch chain smoking. A couple trying to keep the trivia going. Separate conversations have started and people are more spread out. The druggies are starting to act really funny, and can't stop laughing. The drunks are arguing minor detail about the actual definition of communism.

Then as the flow always goes, couples start parring off, people need to go home and finish their game of CIV5, the rest merge groups and wind down the night with false feelings of closeness.

I'm guessing everybody would realize everybody else was sitting down awkwardly and then discover everybody was relatively smart, and then a courageous intp would call in a third party INTJ to mediate discussions (or not). Various topics would be brought up, and after everybody was done fuming at others stupidity or realizing they all agreed, they'd leave and later remember they forgot to get everybody's number and/or rationalize why it didn't matter.

I lot more people than you might think smoke pot. Some very accomplished people have tripped on lsd and mescaline. Many people can benefit from psychedelics, plus they can be really fun.

Drug abuse is not so unheard of for INTP's. We are logical types. Sometimes it's nice to take things that slow your thoughts down, or speeds your thoughts up, or shuts all your serious thoughts off. Somethings help you focus, somethings make you social. And they usually feel good.

I don't do any drugs like heroin or crack. So I can't speak of their appeal in an accurate way.

Yeah, I don't know about the hard stuff like crack/heroin/etc but I imagine an INTP who uses drugs wouldn't be much different from a non-INTP who uses drugs... or maybe from an INTP who doesn't use drugs?... or maybe both? Neither?
Whatever, you get my point. I think it's fairly common. I can attest to three people at least on the forum who uses psychedelics, one is me, one is Lot here, and Munk doesn't seem to come around as often anymore but he's the third.

Maybe this isn't fitting with the Introversion of INTP, but if I'm surrounded by people who don't talk, I gain the confidence to take the lead and can become very extroverted. Actually I would say I'm only introverted maybe 60% of the time. In this case, I don't think the party would be too boring if there are other INTPs like me

Nah, seriously.... my main goal and priority as a single guy is to randomly get laid (as sayed above) with (eventually hot) women and to develop my NeSiFe axis, basically accumulating new human and social experiences. And let's say things as they are, partie's LOGICAL and FINAL endpoint is to get laid. POINT. POOIINNT. GETTING LAID in the most unusual ways if possible. My view of an intp party would be that of a sexually liberated crowd/hippies who smoke weed, talk shit/philosophy and who experiment the fuck out of every social situation... social hackers lol.

To be frank, the quality of a party depends on the people in it... My best parties were the ones with a majority of NFJs( mostly house parties) ; because then you become the attraction and everyone wants YOU( especially if you were a distinctive attire lol, this one is a good hacker). My worst parties were the ones where I was surrounded by " normal people"( thus bars, clubs etc...) who rarely even understand the dynamics of a party/social gathering so they stay in their comfort zone/ corner and become boring... or maybe were they INTPs?

What I meant is that to a drunk man, having " high standards in a woman" is not necessary when it comes to appeasing such a need/pulsion. It's more about the pulsion than the girl... bad thing to say I know, but that's nature you know....
