Caffiene makes me more "F". Or maybe just "E".

My friend also claimed it made him nicer to the general public. He's usually a bit of an asshole, he assaulted strangers with breadsticks for the laughs.

Caffeine usually lifts my mood. I also find I enjoy music a little bit more. Maybe I am usually just asocial out of laziness, and the caffeine makes me more energetic. Last night I just felt more F leaning, but it was subtle.

So, caffeine?

There is too much blood in my caffeine stream. I actually drink about ten cups a day. It doesn't make me more F or E but simply functional.

Wow. 10 cups. I drink 2/3 cups/day on average. Makes one more 'hyper'. I may know what you mean though, I am more inclined to do energy using activities, such as interacting with others in real life with caffeine.

(edit: on a side note, it is recommended to drink coffee before doing a race or similar activity (MensHealth magazine clipping)

I'm completely reliant on caffeine in situations where I want to socialize. It normals me up. I know what you mean about the F thing too. Not long ago I would sometimes go on apology sprees on days when I had the right amount of coffee.

Funny... All caffeine does is keep me up at night. When I reach a certain level of exhaustion, that's when the F breaks out. And the E. And I don't mean in a good way.

Same with me, but I only use it sporadically so as not to become tolerant (it is very easy to become tolerant to it, as the experience Anthile and billions of other people in the world can attest). I like smoking, again sporadically, for the same reason. I don't know if it's because of the E or the F or whatever, but people just respond to me better when I'm in that "up" state they put me on.

My name is Shadow and I have a caffeine addiction. No really. I drink so much soda in a day. I have a vanilla coke right now, I got 4 liters of coke to myself today and another can of coke (plus the current vanilla coke) when I try to cut back I don't function anymore.

I get more energetic too usually. I know what you mean by the F thing (though at this point I just go through withdrawl without it)

Since I normally just revert to an ENFP persona to have fun, I don't think I really need the caffeine. My ENFP friend and I have a great time. She just turns on her silly switch and I turn on my persona and we hit it off great.

When I have caffeine I think I just laugh too much and I have a harder time thinking through things because I'm just kind of jittery, and then I kind of stutter a little bit and I say stupid things because the words exit my mouth before I finish thinking through things. It's the same if I haven't slept all night. And anyways, if I'm going to go social, I want to do it in my right mind.

Another thing is that the effect of the caffeine continues when I leave my friends. When I'm alone, I feel all nervous and then when it starts to wear off I get kind of depressed and I get a bit of a headache. So in all, it's not a great experience for me unless I want to act stupid and then hang out with my friends the whole time. lol :P

I drink a fair amount of caffeine (iced tea), and it doesn't seem to affect me very much all in all; however, I discovered on accident several months ago that drinking a decent amount of Mountain Dew in the course of several days eventually puts me in a better mood.

What's even more bizarre is that a couple of years ago, I felt really depressed for no real reason one day and couldn't understand why. The only thing that was different from usual? I'd finished off almost a whole gallon of milk in the course of a few days. I did a Google search and -- sure enough -- found some researchers had conducted a study where they determined the solids in milk had neurological effects.

My brain chemistry is a nightmare.
